My friend and I had a wonderful evening at the castle. I paid for the VIP experience which is to include priority castle access, via first row, all section seating or second row center; a cheering banner; a VIP lanyard and a framed entrance group photo for each member. I don't know if they were running behind at our show last night, but we didn't get in to the arena until almost 6, which isn't a big deal. They opened the big doors and all went in, no priority access, again no big deal because the crowds flowed in well. It was a very entertaining show from them showing all the tricks the different horses do, to the falcon flying, to the main event of the knights jousting each other. My knight was the Black and White knight. Although he didn't win, he put up a good fight. It was fun to see how everyone in the crowd got into cheering for their knight. I may have yelled too much, but I had a ball. Food was very good. Very good evening for all, even if you don't have kids with you. Highly recommended. Pictures below may be blurry due to everyone constantly moving around.
First, as of June 2, 2022, masks were not required, but several staff and guests were wearing them. Second, the entrance to this place is inside the mall. We went with a school group at a significantly reduced rate. Our lunch consisted of a leg and thigh combo, with half a roasted potato, a 1/4 piece of corn on the cob and a piece of garlic bread. Everything but the garlic bread was already at our table, and wrapped in aluminum foil. By the time we ate it, the food was cold. The chicken was still pretty good, but the corn tasted like it had been soaking in water for too long. Also, there were wet naps handed out, but no plastic utensils. I wonder if this pre-planned meal set up was specifically for the school aged groups. I felt the show was tamed down to cater to the audience, and the first 30 minutes was about anti-bullying and showing kindness to everyone. The falconry display was interesting, and there were some fun action scenes with the horses. But I was not "wowed", like I thought I would be. Again, it could be that they were catering to a much younger audience. The people were all very kind, and was glad to have the chance to take my kiddo there. *edited to add that the planning of the meals may have directly been related to catering to school-aged groups.
I have never been to any of these shows while I’ve heard of them and was surprised by my wife as we traveled through Maryland and to my astonishment, I was happy that we came. From beginning to end, this medieval tournament was fully entertaining while involving the entire crowd with its entertainment. While watching and engaging with this show, you are fulfilled with a complete meal with drinks that leaves you fully satisfied. I highly encourage others to come here and watch a fabulous show.
We came to the event not really sure what to expect as we are on vacation from Devon UK.
It was a great show which was enjoyed by the whole family age ranging from 12-48.
There were many young families enjoying the whole experience. Audience participation is essential to experience the whole show.
I would like to have seen more jousting and various weapon fighting displays.
Our server was maybe a tad enthusiastic but enjoyable all the same, thankfully it was only in short bursts or it may have become annoying.
The food portion was a good size and they cater for food allergies as well as vegetarian and vegan options.
I would recommend this event as a refreshing change.
Omg I absolutely love this place, now I always have a good time with the entertainment, and the foods pretty darn good, they have options for any one with food allergies which is nice, because I always go with my friend who has allergies. The price is pretty high but I believe it’s considered reasonable. Gotta say this last time I went our server was absolutely the best!!! Now I can’t give it 5 stars for only one reason… we did happen to have young kids screaming and acting out of control which did kinda ruin a little bit of the fun… but it’s to be expected at a place like this!!!! Would highly recommend every to go!
Excellent show. Dinner was superb. Great entertainment for all ages. They castle is located inside of the Arundel Mills Mall. It is clean, plenty of clean bathrooms, friendly staff and great alcohol drinks. Dinner was very fulling which included soda or juice, a very tender, moist and very well seasoned half of chicken, sweet buttery corn on cob, garlic bread and baked potatoes. For desert a Carmel ice cream cup. You eat dinner with your hands..after all it is the medieval time period. 😉 It was very well organized from the beginning to the end. The horse shows were amazing. The staff made announcements of the guest birthdays, anniversaries, engagements and birth announcement if was requested for an extra fee of course. Everything was well worth the price. And as you can see you can take pictures but can not video the show. Each guest get a glad and crown to wear. Their is 6 courts, red, green, white, blue, yellow and red and yellow. They fight at the Queens orders. A fun show and a great way to spend 2 how's with the family.

This is a fun activity and the food is great. I like that they now have TWO women in the whole show, maybe they can keep adding them until they get to some type of equality here.
It would also be nice to see the show change a bit because I'd like to come more frequently.
Also--- the chicken is great, but I think they could offer more bread or more soup and a little less chicken. It was a LOT of chicken.
I appreciate the allergy friendly food (at least for me) as the food didn't have egg in it.
