Excellent vegitarian food. I recently attended a beer pairing dinner. To my delight, the chef prepared a second menu for my dietary restrictions. It was wonderful. Everyone at my table was giving rave reviews of the omnivore meal as well.
Nice business dinner. Interesting mix of nice tables and loud college students. Fun place. I had the veal confit and it was very good. Gnocchi were fantastic and the sauce not too heavy. Dessert was the apple fritters. Dececadent and wonderful. Crisp with real maple syrup. Worth the visit.
Every time I've gone here I've been delighted by the food. The falafel/chickpea appetizer is TO DIE for. Burgers are the best in the Hanover area and I haven't yet had an entree that I didn't think was terrific. They also have a selection of "bar food." But I prefer to go here for a long and hearty three course meal. Service is friendly and attentive. Atmosphere is cozy.
I wouldn't classify Murphy's as pub food at all. It has good selection and is probably the best food of the traditional big 3 restaurants in Hanover (along with Canoe Club and Molly's). The Murph Burger is the best in town. Disappointing that they only have lunch and brunch on weekends.
Surprisingly good food for an Irish bar. Yum! Try the avacado salad...so fresh!
A good overall dinner, and I was glad that the Murph Burger was actually quite good. I’m still not sure it’s $13 good, but it is indeed a good burger.
