Had dinner for 3 people here and were seated quickly and efficiently. Our waiter was welcoming and professional, and checked in on us occasionally and at appropriate times. The tablecloth was topped with a large piece of drawing paper a cup of crayons - ostensibly to keep young children preoccupied. Our meals included various appetizers and main courses. The cup of French Onion soup was made well and served hot. If we visit again, we will probably get the bowl as the cup it came in was much smaller than a typical cup. Caesar salad had very large croutons and a good amount of cheese and dressing. It was better than the house salad. I found the house salad rather mediocre. The two best items were the buffalo wings and the chicken carbonara. I consider myself a connoisseur of wings and am often disappointed. However, I was pleasantly surprised with the wings from Molly’s. They were large, crispy, and seasoned perfectly. The portion size is for a very hungry person or for perhaps two people. I couldn’t finish them myself! The chicken carbonara was also a winner. It was cooked perfectly with plenty of bacon and cheese. My daughter, who is very picky, loved it as well. This restaurant seemed to be a Dartmouth hangout peppered with college kids, along with some families and locals.
My co-worker went to Dartmouth and when she saw we were in Hanover, sent me a text saying we HAD to go to Molly’s for their cheap margaritas and the best bread in town. The bread is served warm and comes with a side of honey butter. She might seriously be right about the best bread in town…I can’t imagine how deadly this must have been after a hangover!
Great pizza!. Nice thin wood fired pizza. Great selection of beers, too. Service was very prompt.
Everytime I go in there the employees look like they want to kill themselves!!!!
Decent American food, various pizzAs, burgers, entrees. And decent beer selection. Convenient location.
I decided to order the Maple Pork Loin ($14) because I had never tried “cider brined pork” before. I was quite impressed with this dish because the two large portions of pork were very filling and the “maple ginger apple sauce” underneath the pork tasted and looked just like apple pie filling but was a darker brown color.
