It's hit or miss depending on what you order, but the stuff that's good is incredible. All the sushi is good. They have a Korean kimchi dish that I pretty much have to order every time it's so good.

I just love their Salmon Teriyaki & sticky rice! The bibimbap is also very nice!

The only place in Hanover for sushi/sashimi and Korean. The sushi is nothing close to being really good, but good enough if you are craving the stuff and make careful choices. Service is slow, they seem a bit overwhelmed, even though they are open only for takeout. A tip to get the best out of their sushi is to avoid late hours, because they really drop the ball with sushi construction later in the day. The Korean is good, the ramen is not. Some of my favorites here: the combos are all good. Among individual items, the tuna, yellowtail, escolar, and salmon are good choices for nigiri, maki or sashimi. The tuna+scallion maki and Boston maki are good too, and the California maki and it’s variations are okay. All eel based items are good, and the kopdol bibimbap is pretty great.

I may update my review when I return (and I will) and try the Korean items. I feel like that's probably where they will shine the brightest. All I had on this visit was the sushi, which was not too bad. I mean, the rolls were good, but the yellowtail nigiri was a tiny bit "fishy" which makes me uneasy. The salmon was okay. I did enjoy the torched salmon. Super yummy! I devoured all of the Korean pickles they served, prior. I'd love to try their ramen as well. The service was very nice. I enjoyed my visit and will try some other items.

Pretty good experience. Very nice ambiance and good variety of food. Fairly priced and super delicious. Service is variable. Sometimes it's fast and they're super nice (bring a Korean), but sometimes it's crowded, they're understaffed, and forget stuff. Best if you want high quality Korean food!

I love going to SushiYa with my family! The sushi is delicious and creative. The best thing on the sushi roll menu is the Super Dragon Roll. It's incredible! I love trying the Korean dishes as well, there's nothing else that compares in the Upper Valley. My two year old son loves the Half Udon noodle bowl with broccoli, veggie tempura, and steamed veggie gyoza. The staff is always welcoming and very efficient. We will be back again and again!

Great place for sushi in the Upper Valley. Their lunch special Maki combos and Benton boxes are always a great and affordable choice. They also have a great miso soup. The Korean small dish appetizers that you get served with every meal (on the house) are also a nice and tasty touch. Make sure to ask for the house tea for a cup of hot tea!
