Excellent place to take the entire family. Great food and a wonderful selection of drinks. The staff are friendly and attentive. This place is always busy but whenever I come here, the waitresses and waiters are happy to serve you. You are always greeted with a smile at the front door.
First time going and it was delicious. We order the fish and shrimp combo the fish seemed frozen and not fresh little mush but the shrimp was so good. Hubby got the chicken po boy and it’s huge and so juicy my dad got the gumbo shrimp skillet and it was filling. Tried their alligator and it taste like chicken so yummy and their stuffed jalapeños are the bomb! The hurricane set it off right to wash it all down. Def coming here again and again. Customer service was awesome as well. Four stars only for the fish being slightly mush.
Edit: visited a second time today. Still amazing food and great service! Updated pictures to showcase the insanely delicious app; Cajun Crawfish fondue, and oysters that were otherworldly.
Original: Food was perfectly cooked and flavors were out of this world. My wife enjoyed the alcohol choices. The fried pickles are the best in killeen, hands down no contestant.
Was fast to get seated, waitress was very helpful on helping with ordering some gator. Only thing is since prices have gone up it's a little pricey now. Food was good just not worth the price.
I went @2pm during the week when they weren't busy at all. The establishment was clean and the staff were very pleasant. I had the fish Ah 'Yee which was delicious with the dirty rice substitute and my husband had the Aundoulle sausage with red beans and rice. Our appetizer was the boudin balls in which I had to admit was not my favorite since I had them in Louisiana and were way better. Service was amazing and the drinks were perfect and not watered down (I had the peach mamba). I would definitely recommend this place for a nice daytime date with friends or a loved one.
Very pleasantly surprised by this place. The alligator appetizer was outstanding and the stuffed fish was top notch. The best part was the Cajun spices being perfectly balanced and applied. Not hot spicy, flavorful spicy. When a place has large mason-jar lemonades, offers 'dirty' rice, and knows how to use spices right, that's a damn good Cajun restaurant.
Tried the Big Easy burger platter.....one of the best burgers in town easily one of my favorites along with five guys, red robin and big bobs burgers. But if you are not into burgers the chicken etoufee and fried gator tail are excellent too. If you are not into spicy then razzos isn't the place for you. If you are then you are in for a treat. The employees are friendly ,helpful and go out of thier way to make sure you have a pleasant visit. I'm only giving 4 stars because even though the food is good, it isn't good enough to make it one of my go to restaurants, what I mean by that is when I'm trying to figure what restaurant I want to eat from razzos isn't one to come to mind in my choices until I've reached the bottom of my list. Now keep in mind I'm just talking about the food. I'm sure the in dining atmosphere is excellent because they are always busy when I go there. So do I recommend razzos ......yes I do ....try them out and form your own opinion.
