If I could give this restaurant 10 stars that still would not be enough. Absolutely phenomenal, from the service to the dessert. Our server was Stephen Rose and he was perfect. Knowledgeable, entertaining and personable. He made our 1st visit worth every minute. I highly recommend the crab cakes and whoever came up with the GENIOUS idea of making Bread Pudding out of soft pretzels deserves an award! The entire staff was very engaging and everyone in the restaurant was having a great time. End result, Home 231 is at the top of our list. Thank you for a wonderful evening, we will be back soon and often. �
Great food & highly recommended for everything from brunch, lunch and dinner. Chicken and waffles to benedicts and homemade bite-size donuts are all excellent. The turkey sandwich, salads and soups are some of the best lunch meals you can get in the area. And finally, the constantly updated and fresh dinner menu keeps things new and exciting. Always something to look forward to!
Definitely another 5+ star rating. I went for the first time last night. Stephen was our server and he was a delight and very knowledgeable about the menu and ingredients. The food was fantastic. We had a wonderful time and didn’t want to leave. Very highly recommend!
The food was wonderful and the ambiance of the back deck was perfect. BUT the best thing was the service! Alex was our waiter. His service was deft and prompt and his personality sparkled. Always attentive but never intrusive. Thanks to Alex and the entire staff for a great evening for our party of 6!

This place has such a great atmosphere and vibe. I love the cute little street it is on. The cocktails are so good and the food as well. I really like that they change the menu up so often and have options for everyone seeing as that I am a vegetarian. I would definitely recommend checking it out.
A wonderful hidden gem in Harrisburg, PA. The food was fabulous, not one in our party of 4 found any problems with our dishes. The freshly made donuts were incredible and definitely a must!
Excellent service by Stephen! The food was also fantastic. I mean really, really fantastic. My mom and step-sister were visiting to go wedding dress shopping, and Stephen was kind enough to put a little sparkler in our dessert, write out a card, and bring little truffles over to celebrate. Seriously over the top, fabulous service as well as overall experience. We will absolutely be back and highly recommend Home 231 to anyone in and around the Harrisburg area.

I have been here for brunch on the weekends! I highly recommend getting a reservation. The first time I went I did not have a reservation but I was able to get seated with my friend at the bar to eat. The bartender was super sweet and made a bellini for us. The food every single time was GREAT!
Amazing service, loved my waitress! The food and mimosas were AMAZING. And I was even pleasantly surprised for my birthday. My heart was happy. :) I had the pumpkin French toast, salmon with eggs and an apple cider mimosa. Devine! Cute lil atmosphere as well. Thank you Home 231!!

We went to dinner for my daughter's 18th birthday. We've been many times but they were so kind and especially accommodating this time. They even gave her a birthday card.

I’m so glad I had dinner here. My bartender was wonderful. The bone marrow cocktail was well-crafted and strong. Grilled octopus was out of this world. Deviled eggs were good. Duck confit special was great. Donuts for dessert. I’ll be back.
Date night Portugal 🇵🇹 wine and food tasting at home 231 food and the wine was amazing. The owner staff and the chef are amazing.
Absolutely wowed by this place! The octopus was a bit salty, and didn’t have the visual aesthetics of your standard tentacle dish. But…the pork kan kan made up for any deficiency! That dish was absolutely delicious! The setting was what I’d consider “city intimate”…definitely more “date night” than “friend gathering”. We’ll definitely return!
