Great food! We are so excited to try everything on the menu on return trips! The staff was super friendly and quick. Particularly loved the meats and my cocktail. The yucca fries were perfect! The only negative was the other customers. The other two groups of people on the patio were chain smoking the entire time inside the fully enclosed tenting which left our eyes burning by the end of our meal. We will certainly be back but won't risk sitting outside again unless it's warm enough to have the flaps all opened up.
The atmosphere was romantic and cozy. The staff was attentive and friendly. The food was incredible! I had the redsnapper. It came with white rice and sweet plantains. It was light and savory. So good! My husband had the shrimp and white rice. He says it was excellent. I also indulged and had a Pear gingertini! It was really good! Although there was only a splash of gingerale, the ginger flavor was prevalent. I'd recommend this restaurant for any adult outing.
*2 cons; parking is sparse but a sign at the restaurant indicated availability to park at the Days Inn. Seating is a little close together (not uncomfortably). Cons aren't enough for me to give less than 5 stars.
At first, the restaurant was difficult to find, we went around the surrounding area 3 times before the GPS finally told us to turn on the correct street. So first things first, before going make sure you trust your GPS. The restaurant is in a historic district in Harrisburg and it is a super cute area to walk around. After finding the restaurant everything was smooth sailing. Like most places the staffing was short, but the server was incredibly attentive. We ordered a delicious Malbec and put in our orders, which came out incredibly fast. I haven't had good black beans and rice since I was in Havana, Cuba and man do these hold up. The pork was so juicy and the beef was so tender it just fell apart. If you are looking for some good food that will warm your soul, definitely stop by.
Food is always excellent at this restaurant. We had for the 4 of us, ceviche, yuca frita, masita de puerco, Cuban fried rice, salmon special, lechon asado, coconut flan, and tres Leche. Had mojito, infused pineapple martini, and Dos Equis for alcoholic drinks. Everything was delicious. Had plenty of to go containers at end of meal because we got so much food.
Waitress did good job. Owner/staff Very accommodating when one person in party needed to be gluten free and no onions.
Total price for the 4 of us was $190+tip.
Will definitely be back.
I happen to stop by in Harrisburg for a weekend let me tell you what this place is pretty good now I did not go inside we had gotten a table outside and were there the whole time we just had a very short walk we had gotten different types of steaks and shrimp and the Stone age and carnitas or I should say lechon in a bottle of wine all of the food in particular that we had gotten that day was very good looking at what people had gotten at their tables outside also the food is plentiful coming out of the kitchen everything looked delicious if you get a chance to stop here take a walk along the river while you're here after you eat like we did I think you'll enjoy your very much good time here
One of my new favorite restaurants! Everything was delicious and my server Allison was amazing! Will definitely be back soon!
Very busy at 6pm on a Saturday night. But I happened to be alone and just happened to speak with the owner.
I was seated at the bar and was served promptly. Great food. Lovely restaurant.
Can't get to Cuba. Get here instead. Old part of town. Everything is the way it should be. Wished I lived in the area, but just traveling through. Affordable. In the historic district, beautiful homes and buildings and near a river.
