Come to the arch street tavern, I have found the food is great, The staff is superb, and are great people as well. The music featured is very high quality and fun, with excellent sound management. Historic room, making for good social events. Large quality patio. State of the Art Light Show on wed. night for Boo-Yah band free funk dance night. The go to place when you are in Hartford. bb
Always a great band and a good time. The bartenders are on point and the space is big with great sound.
They have the best Reubens in town. we also tried the steak wrap and were very impressed.

Never thought of this as a family place. However, Sunday afternoon and kids all around. School of Rock concert. 10 year olds covering Pink Floyd. Insane fun. The corned beef is delicious but sparse.

I stopped in here for happy hour after work and was glad I checked their parking situation. They validate parking for the garage right across the street so that saved time and money!
Overall their happy hour is great. Very inexpensive drinks ($3 beers, $5 cocktails) and the food was inexpensive as well. I didn't order any food while I was there so can't comment on it, but the beverages were good and they had a decent beer list. Our server was friendly as well and checked in a decent amount.

The band was wonderful.
Lovely atmosphere, caught their trivia night so the place was packed to the brim so service was excruciatingly slow. But, our waitress was pleasant. The drinks were good, I had the pistachio cocktail which I really loved. The food wasn't so good, the fries were very bland and cardboard-like and my friend said her salad was half dressing. I would say, go for the drinks and ambience but not the food.
