Used to come here and sit down eat in, the service was good back then. The coffee carafe on the table was great. We now order and pick up, truly effortless easy to use online ordering system. Best corn beef hash and eggs in town, but all their food is great.

Just ate here. Food was fantastic - great traditional diner breakfast. They were fairly busy but we were served promptly and no delay in getting our food. Will be back!
Wow, first time here and beyond impressed!! We tried to get into another popular breakfast nearby and so glad we didn’t get in!! The food was high quality hot and delicious.
Price was great we both got stuffed for under $20!!

This place is an institution within Haslett. Nothing comes close. What they deliver is excellent food, great service and amazing value. They represent all that is good about small town life. The quality of their food exceeds anything you would get from a chain restaurant.
Recent visit after many months away from area. The restaurant was very busy on a wknd. We had a typical, eggs, sausage, toast, and hashbrown potatoes. With coffee. Service was pleasant and very efficient. This place brings an insulated pitcher of coffee. For abt 4 cup refills. There were abt 4 servers. All appeared very efficient. The restrooms were clean, at this late in the morning time. Lots of free prkng. Very modest pricing.

In spite of being short-staffed, the waiters were, quite literally, nearly running to timely wait on the customers. Rude patrons complaining about the timeliness of their food clearly didn't observe what was happening. Food tasted great, as always. Will come again.
Eating here for the first time and will definitely be back. Excellent food. Quick service. Plenty of food. Will not leave hungry. I had the lumber jack breakfast with a Belgium waffle substituted for the pancakes. Loaded with strawberries and whipped cream.

It's great diner food at low prices. Reminds me of my childhood, when inflation didn't make hamburgers cost $20 each. Staff is small town friendly and the place is great. It's one little room, but a lot of comfort. Love it here!
One of my favorite breakfast cafe's in the Lansing, MI area! The food is always perfect and delicious! Served by the most competent and affable waitstaff! A family atmosphere filled with locals. Prices are very fair. It's very full on weekends so if you want to eat, relax, and just hang out at Fernando's, during the week is better.
Fernando's is the perfect breakfast spot! I had the country omelet and it was dynamite!
This is a great, cozy restaurant! We tried it this morning for breakfast and the food was great. I am extremely picky about my coffee - if it isn’t good, I give it to my husband to drink. This morning, I had three cups of coffee because it was so good. One of my sons doesn’t like breakfast food, so he ordered the meatloaf without gravy and it was very good. The prices are reasonable and all of the staff was friendly. The restaurant was clean, the booth we were in was comfortable, and the restaurant has a nice decor. I highly recommend Fernando’s.

Update: my Da and I came in a few weeks ago and he instantly fell in love with the country gravy. My Da is old school about breakfast gravy, and I'm pretty sure this will be his go-to place for that now. Meal was fantastic, fresh, and perfectly portioned as usual. GET IT!!
Update² (for the Math Lovers of Haslett): It's getting chilly, and what a sanctuary this place is for our community. Still great!

This is a local Haslett staple. Bloodies doesn’t hold a candle to Fernando’s! Love this place been coming here for 15 years whenever we have the chance!
Fernando’s Cafe has the best breakfast in Haslett Michigan. I would recommend everyone go and try it if they are in the area or have lived here forever and have never tried it. My personal favorite item I try and get every Tuesday is the Lumberjack Breakfast. Staff is also really friendly and it feels like family.
