Had a wonderful meal here with my wife tonight… We were treated like family. Our waitress was very helpful with explaining the menu. Wife had the green curry salmon and I had the pumpkin curry with chicken. The sticky rice with mango was fabulous and the presentation for each dish was fantastic… Our drinks stayed full and and our tummies were too when we left. Can’t wait to comeback to try the rest of the menu.
We are here 3 years ago when traveling through town, and it was amazing. We were traveling through again and my wife wanted to go here again (hoping it was still there) and so we did, and are so glad we did! It was just as amazing as it was 3 years ago, the food is always fresh, very well flavored and seasoned, and their attention to detail is fantastic.
The waiter even double checked every ingredient with the kitchen on the good I ordered due to my shellfish allergy, and came back multiple times just to make sure that I would be ok with fish sauce and other ingredients that may be in question, even though I did not ask him to.
I can't recommend this place enough, 5/5 stars in every category!
Thank you again for the amazing service and outstanding food!
It is my first time being at this place.
I loved the lightning and simple decor inside. The servers were friendly. The Chicken Satay appetizer was good. I loved the spiciness in Fried Chicken Rice and Spicy bamboo shoots. We asked the server if it was possible to write “Congratulations” on the dessert we ordered, and they did write it for us.
But the only thing which wasn’t good was, they too a long- long time to bring out the dessert. It wasn’t just brought out late but was also cold. We had ordered Vanilla Fried Ice-cream and expected it to be warm and crispy but it didn’t turn out that way. I wish they didn’t add the extra toppings on the ice cream because that didn’t allow us to get the actual flavor of the dessert.
Overall, we enjoyed our dinner night at this restaurant.
Jutamas is approached from a strip mall parking lot. The entrance opens into an immaculate up-to-date themed restaurant. We were immediately greeted and shown to our seats. All of the tables in the restaurant were decorated tastefully. Piano music played quietly. A single well-dressed waiter with similarly clad helper was all that was observed. Guests were spaced adequately and the waiter was attentive to all. This a new restaurant to us and we were willing to try. The fried wonton was the best. The accompanying sweet and sour dip made it even better. We had the Phad Kra Tiem and Phad Med Ma Moung for our main dishes. This was prefaced with soup which we did not confirm to be lemongrass but think it was. Everything was served on real dishes, with lots of hand carving of carrots and other veggies for a nice presentation. All was well cooked and appetizing. My wife cleaned her plate. I ate more than I thought given my rare foray into vegetables. I tried everything and I liked all. Clean, fresh, and good food. Recommended highly.
The Spicy Bamboo Shoot was okay. However, the Chicken Fried Rice was tasty. The Fired Icecream wasn’t as expected. The Icecream was topped with wipped cream from all sides. Chocolate syrup and fruit syrup ruined the taste of the icecream and it was cold.
The staff are always extremely helpful and polite. The food has been amazing every single time I have visited and the presentation of the dishes are beautiful. If you are looking for a nice quiet place for a nice meal or date night then I would certainly recommend giving them a visit.
