Amazing place to eat, highly reccomend eating outside! They have a full garden with insanely tall bamboo and giant koi pond. The waitress even gave us a small cup of fish food to feed them! Got to wall around the grounds while waiting for the food so the wait didn't even feel like we waited! Good prices for bentos and they offer hibachi as well of course!

My go to place for lunch during week, regardless of weather. It's comfortable inside during colder days and beautiful outside by the Koi pond during warmer times. It's usually pretty quiet during lunch time throughout the week which I enjoy as I get attentive service, quick delicious food, and my check as soon as I ask for it.
I usually get the bento box, chicken teriyaki, Katsu, or shrimp tempura but have had seasame chicken, chicken pad Thai, California, philly and avocado rolls during my multiple visits and have always enjoyed each dish!
I mean honestly? If you're like me and work in Valhalla- a place that is basically devoid of life and options- pickings are slim; but Hida manages to give me something to look forward to when I want to sit down and enjoy my lunch break vs Wendy's drive-thru which is great when I want to be an unhealthy fatty that shoves baconator fries down my throat to combat an abnormally tough day and I'm crunched for time.
TL;DR: place is beautiful inside and out, service is great, food is tasty and prices are affordable. Definitely a great place to take friends for hibachi, a date to impress or to eat by your lonesome!
Food was very good was service was not great. I was with a big group of people, seemed it was too much for the waitress to handle. They kept forgetting food and drinks for several people at the table. Multiple different waitresses trying to handle our table. Chef was great, did an amazing job. Maybe service would be better if I was not in a big group? I sure hope so
Great service. They brought us sake bombs to the table on the house. They poured sake on us (all over us - could've been aimed more prudently, I was soaked after). The server was in great spirits and very friendly. Food was good.
Stopped by on a road trip to Boston from NY. Food is excellent, staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Our server Dong Woo hooked us up with some excellent food recommendations. They have a beautiful garden in the back with a pond, bridge, and waterfall. This place is excellent would be happy to stop by again!
Went for a business lunch. Great place to entertain business clients. The food was very good, however more important was the ambiance. The cooks put on a great show, juggling the knives and other cutlery. The steak was excellent, so if you are not into sushi there is still plenty for you.
The steak was perfectly cooked. The staff was very kind and engaging. The entertainment value was awesome. The scallops were the star of the show in my opinion. I recommend this place as the best hibachi restaurant ever.
