I took my son to the movies and I wanted to get something to eat afterwards. So I was browsing on the internet and saw this place. I love sushi but it is hard to find good and fresh sushi. I am so glad I gave this place a try today. I bought 3 rolls, a Dragon roll, Lion King roll, and Shrimp tempura roll. They were all good and the service was good but I did takeout so I don't know how it is if you eat at the restaurant. Also the presentation was so nice for a takeout box that really impressed me. If you like sushi give them a try. I will be back. Also the name on the restaurant is Hinata Kitchen and it is upstairs right next to the movie theater.
They've rebranded into a restaurant but honestly I like it the aesthetic is pleasing and some dishes are very beautiful and presentation is very elegant as well.
Btw the dish is the cherry blossom
The restaurant is on the 2nd floor and there's elevator if you can't walk the small set of stairs. I reccomend the outdoor seating especially during the day the light shining onto the tables and the seating arrangement outside is beautiful. All the fish I had here in the rolls and 20pc sashimi I had was beautiful. The salmon lovers roll was basic and alright nothing special but the salmon quality is great. The sweetheart roll was great and cute looking and had a nice light sweet taste. The voodoo roll was amazing it has soft sweet seaweed on the top with tuna on the outside and fried tuna on the inside which provides a nice contrast with a light crunch. The scallop king roll was great and I reccomend it if you want something nicely soft and warm. The agedashi tofu was nice, warm, and soft, with a great light crunch. The takoyaki came in 6 pieces and had a great flavor but was nothing special. If you like takoyaki, you'll like it, but if you don't it won't convert you into a takoyaki lover. The staff were polite, attentive, timely, and understanding but then again we went during the day when it wasn't busy on a Saturday afternoon around 5pm. Next time I come here I'm definitely getting the voodoo roll and some tofu or takoyaki. Definitely coming back here I'm a fan of it.
Great food and presentation. The ambiance atmosphere in the restaurant was relaxing and upscale. Music was on point.
I just love the service, the food and the location. I have eaten here many times and I have been always treated with the same level of service.
