Celiacs Rejoice!!!
I had an opportunity to attend the "soft opening" and wasn't disappointed! The food prep staff members were still learning, but made up for it with their wonderful customer service, humor, and desire to please the guests. I was able to enjoy an amazing burrito (sans tortilla) in a bowl, enjoying every bite!!! The selection of canned beer, tap selections (4 options), and wine make it a great place to meet and visit with friends while enjoying an eclectic atmosphere. Gluten reduced beer from outlaw brewing in Bozeman was available, adding to my delight!
They are willing to "customize" their meals to accommodate food allergies (within reason, of course!) without losing the flavor and region of their specialized burritos.
All in all, it was a dinner that I am already looking forward to again!
Second time to La Pa this week! The atmosphere is so fantastic...classy, funky and playful. Nice selection of tunes, shuffleboard and darts, great community table to gather with friends. Staff is the bomb-friendly, happy and engaging. The food is fabulous, had buffalo gypsy (house style) and veggie Bombay-both so healthy and flavorful. Great beer on tap, plus gluten reduced beer and wine! Totally hip place to hang with friends. Kid friendly too! Thanks La Pa for coming to Helena!!
The food is fresh, exciting and delicious, and the ambiance is great and the service �. So cute and relaxed... So comfortable for a night out w a toddler! Tonight was the best. I didn't want to bring in a crazy toddler at bedtime, but there was no place to park... They brought my order out so i could get in on $5 taco night! We love La Pa!
Always great food, great employees and a wonderful laid back environment. Now that they have live music it's always a nice get away with the kiddos!
Went and tried it for the first time the other night. The staff was wonderful with my small kiddos. Went and turned on a kids movie for them. And the food oh my it was amazing. I ordered the Jumbalya(sp?) Thinking it was just normal (sleep deprived momma) and then when it in a burrito and it tasted amazing I was blown away. My husband got the black gambo and that catfish was so crispy and tasty. Will definitely be back! (A lot)
Delicious!! As a vegetarian in town who really pays attention to what I eat, I am so excited LaPa has arrived! The food is delicious in a creative way with a variety of options. My 2 kiddos (both under 4 years old) scarfed down their burritos and my meat loving husband also loved his food. The atmosphere is fun and casual. We are excited to head back soon!
Good food. Typical American Mexican food. We tried the chips, tacos and burritos. You definitely get the most flavor and most food with the burritos. Nice quick lunch. Nice selection of beer to have as well as a few games to play. Nice place to sit and hang out for awhile.
Wonderful local fast casual food. They have a bunch of options on the menu or you can make your own. Salads, bowls, burritos and tacos that are all easy to customize. The service was great and everything was tasty.
LaPa Grill is a really great option for fusion burritos and tacos. I could stand in front of that menu and think for minutes before making a decision. They do have lots of vegetarian options on their menu. I also had a draft brew - Solar Power. My burrito was delicious although the tortilla could have been a little more hot. I'm sure it would have been easy to request a warmer tortilla though, as the customer service from the employees is great. Everyone has a great attitude and enjoys working. This grill will not disappoint you!
As far as the negative reviews I have seen, I strongly disagree. Some people are just negative Nancy's and cannot be pleased easily. Come here for a drink, a great plate, and nice vibes.
I had the nachos and they were delicious! Love the atmosphere and vibe. The artwork is phenomenal!
Fantastic local diner, first time visit. Tried the Blackwater Bayou burrito, and it was delicious! I haven't had fish in a burrito in a long time, and I was not disappointed.
The atmosphere was comfortable, calm, and pleasant all afternoon, ..as I can attest to, since I spent 7 hours with my date and didn't even notice the time fly by!
They have fish tacos that will make you rethink fish tacos...in the best way possible. Seriously they're so good. I haven't had anything else there yet but folks I went to lunch with had some amazing looking burritos and other tacos. They also have a very nice craft beer selection
Quick service, delicious variety of fresh ingredients, friendly staff, clean dining area. I had a classic burrito with bison and it was full of incredible flavor with every bite. I'm glad I tried this great little place and plan on returning.
The staff was helpful in deciding what we would like best/what combinations would work. There were several vegetarian options, that were quite flavorful. For the meat eaters in our group, there was a large variety of meats, including buffalo.
I highly recommend the wasabi dressing! It had a very light spice that was toned down by the cream of the sauce.
I would definitely go again!!
