Best onion rings I've had in a long long time. Hand breaded with a kick, you need to try if you like rings. Sandwiches good and staff very friendly.
Best burger in town....there pound speciality burgers are out of this world...love the atmosphere and servers are very friendly ...also love the fact that kids eat free on Friday nights
Excellent breakfast and the staff is great! Haven't had lunch there yet but going to try here soon. I definitely recommend the breakfast.
Nostalgic for sparkly fuscia counter stools and vinyl aqua chairs? Jonesing for a root beer float and breakfast all day? Then Pop's is the place for you! Grape NeHi and career waitresses add to the authenticity of this old school diner. Yummy, simple food cooked to order (including oatmeal) make Pop's a favorite for locals.
Awsome 50's diner. I stopped to eat here because I seen it was a 1950's themed diner I had the cheese burger with onion rings. For the price I was expecting something just above the quality of fast food. When my food got to my table I was amazed The meat was thick hand pattied and you can tell the onion rings are made fresh. The service is friendly with fast service.
Glad they have opened for dinner. Great menu and fun atmosphere!
Biscuits. I have to admit I only had a sausage biscuit here. The biscuit was from scratch and the sauasge thin but tasty. I did have a chance to look at the food as it was being served and I have to say it looked good. As leaving all the plates I saw were empty not no food left at all. Maybe I'll order a biscuit with 2 patties on the side next?
Pop's Diner is iconic landmark, Carolina Diner reborn. Sitting at the convergence of five streets known to locals as "5 Points", Pop's is named in honor of owner Kim's father. Closed for only a short time, the diner underwent a pretty comprehensive remodel; new sign outside (see above), painted exterior topped with pink neon, new floor, new light fixtures, new tables & seating, new window treatments, new dishes, new menu and a jukebox! The picture above was taken just before all tables, booths and high-tops were full. We had barely beat the rush! Coffee $1.50 PIC and I stopped in for breakfast two weeks ago. We loved the new interior, but loved the new menu even more. They've notched it up. Notice the table pattern under the coffee? That brought back memories of the yellow formica family kitchen table I grew up with. It had the exact same pattern. Choosing one of his favorites, Corned Beef and Eggs ($6.75) , PIC was happy Pop's cook will poach eggs. He likes his corned beef somewhat "c
Had late lunch here. Got the grilled club melt and it was brilliant. Absolutely delicious.
Little bit of a hole-in-the-wall place but would definitely return.
Sat outside on picnic tables. Decent parking.

Definitely an old school diner feel, from the look, to the music and more so the food and pricing. During this trip, probably some of the better food we had. Server was attentive and made sure to both replace an unavailable item and still bring it out before we left when it was ready. If we had more time, I would have gone back again for sure.
We have been to Hendersonville many times and this is our first time! It’s definitely on our to come again list!
We have lived here for over 10 years and every time I drive by this, I'll say we have to try that place! We finally did and bummed we hadn't tried years ago. The old diner feel is a real plus for me, from days gone by. I had country fried steak and eggs, home fries with onions, and my wife had big stack of pancakes which she couldn't come close to finishing them, and a couple of sausage patties. The coffee, well maybe they will let you bring your own in. We happened to have a couple of Vias with us, so we added those to them, but the food was good, maybe not super unique, but good! Our server was excellent, very attentive and helpful. We will definitely return!
This place is great! We were staying in Hendersonville on Vacation and found Pop's after a search for breakfast places on Google. We liked it so much, that we ate there 3 times! We had the Kitchen sink omelet, the corned beef hash omelet, the Country Fried Steak breakfast, scrambled eggs, pancakes, biscuit and gravy combo. All were cooked perfectly and so very good. Our servers Lori and Kailee were very attentive, had great personalities and were very helpful. Pop's made our vacation even better!!
Place was packed but of course it was Saturday at lunch. Place was hopping! The staff was super nice and on point. Food was amazing. I got a grilled chicken salad and it was huge! Not a bad price either. Definitely going back next time I'm in the area.
Absolutely amazing place! Incredibly nostalgic and just all around great atmosphere. Service rocked and the food was phenomenal! Chill was the kicker for me.... And we finished it all off with a shake. I love this little diner and will probably be back for breakfast
Wanted to try some place different. Seen this place on our journeys, but never stopped in. Looked at places on Google maps and this one popped up. The name didn't sound familiar so we thought we'd never seen it. We were wrong. Its a neat '50's style diner with all day breakfast and a nice lunch menu too. Luckily we got the last table available as they were packed & busy. Kailee was friendly and attentive. She was also helpful in making my decision of sides. I got the breakfast while my wife had lunch. As always, we shared a bite of each others entrees. Both were very good. My omlet was so big, I didn't think I could finish it, but I made it. I had ordered the kitchen sink omlet if that gives you a clue to it's size. My wife had the tuna salad sandwich and it was excellent. Why had we not stopped in this little hole in the wall '50's diner before? Who knows? But we'll definitely be returning.
The food was good with good portions! The floors were dirty but it was the end of the day. I didn't get breakfast food but it looked so good. I will have to try it next time. I love diners and this one didn't disappoint.
Oh my goodness.! What a find!! You locals are fortunate to have a place this good in Hendersonville. Great tasting food. The coffee just keeps on coming. Marvelous service. We were on a golf trip to Etowah Valley and stopped here for breakfast. We each had the Kitchen Sink Omelet. I guarantee if you eat that you will not be hungry for lunch. Really fills you up. Delicious. I highly recommend Pop's Diner. Tip your waitstaff extra because they got up really early to help get your day headed in the right direction!
Great family friendly diner. The corned beef hash is delicious! I love how they keep one side crispy and let the hash and potatoes stay creamy on the other. Perfect small business diner to visit when you visit Hendersonville and a short walk to downtown.
Delicious breakfast! The waitresses were friendly and efficient! Highly recommend!
This morning was our first visit to Pop's Diner, and it was fantastic!
Everything was cooked to perfection, and we highly recommend the corned beef hash. Service was excellent!
I always love going to Pops to visit the best servers ever! My breakfast is always right, usually they have it memorized! Such hard working people in this little shop and would always recommend.
We went on Sunday, which was busy-ish. The menu is very big, which could be trimmed a bit and still have a great variety. We didn't get the greatest service from our server. After we ordered, we kept having to ask other servers for drink refills, etc., never seeing our server. Everyone around us received their orders, and we finally had to ask another server about our order. She went to get it for us, but it had been sitting in the kitchen a bit. The food was good, but my husband's plate was a little skimpy on portions for the price. Our server finally returned with our check. Also, in the dining room inside, they need to play a little soft background music. Everyone in there can hear everything that is said by everyone else. We will go back and try lunch, maybe sit on the diner side.
Food is wonderful. Coffee is brewed just right. Waitress are very good at their jobs. Get in early or do a online order
