Qik Summary: The food was good, reasonably priced for a slightly more upscale restaurant, and the service was great.
Deets: A table was immediately available. Staff was very polite. We were served drinks and bread before our final order. The food was cooked as requested (med well), an additional side was added with no problem. The side dishes were as good as the main dish. Everything was freshly cooked.
Our server was kind, accommodating and polite.
We ordered dessert & the cheesecake was delicious.
The environment is clean, cozy and inviting.
Will visit again.
This was our second trip to The Chop House & it has become our favorite. We were with a large party, so we had a chance to try many appetizers along with our salads & steak dinners. We loved everything & the service was amazing. One of the best prime ribs I've had. The shrimp? Delicious! My favorite appetizer was hands down the meatballs. Surprisingly, my second favorite appetizer was the corn cakes (I can't remember what they are called on the menu).
I ordered the weekday prime rib special with house salad and cool as a cucumber cocktail. The house salad was refreshing with crisp cucumbers and feta cheese, the loaded potato was perfect and the steak was so good I was doing happy wiggles with every bite. My only issue was that my cocktail listed fresh mint in the description, but what I was served did not have a hint of mint at all. I spoke to my server Steve and he was quick to rectify the mistake and offered to make it personally. He offered to make my next one if I decided to order another, I didn't as the one cocktail was pretty strong. While enjoying my steak I couldn't help but notice that a person from the birthday dinner party next to me was missing their keys and in just a few minutes three employees had jumped in to help. The keys were quickly located and I was impressed by the reaction of the staff. This place is top notch. 10/10 definitely recommend.
Love thus place !
Food is delicious!
Steaks are cook to exact ordered never have to send them back ! The employees are wonderful ! This is our go to place for special occasions.
First time going, won't be our last. Prime rib was some of the best I've had, t-bone was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The corn soufflé is to die for. We ordered the bacon brown sugar deviled eggs, was amazed by them. Staff was super friendly and very attentive never waited on anything. Sat at the bar while waiting for a table, bartender was very nice and helpful with questions. Will definitely be going back.
I loved everything about The Chop House. The food was amazing! I was a little disappointed they didn’t have prime rib available that day but the grilled shrimp was delicious. Our server was Shannon. I haven’t had amazing service like this in years and Shannon did an excellent job! I would recommend The Chop House to everyone!
This place was amazing! The food, service and atmosphere were perfect. I’m very hard to please when it comes to food as we eat like kings at home. We are food snobs really as we’re often disappointed when eating out and scratch other restaurants off our list but this place is an instant favorite. My wife was so thrilled! We can’t wait to go back and try some other dishes. The teriyaki chicken and the steak burger are absolutely amazing. We added a side of shrimp and it came with noodles and little did we know that it would end up even better than the entrees! Couldn’t be happier leaving a restaurant. A big thanks to our server Courtney for putting up with our children and rushing their food out as well. Much appreciated! Well done Chop House, well done!
One of the best surprises I have had in a long time. We have driven by many times. Well we decided to try this restaurant last night. OMG! It turned out be be the best meal I have had in years. Started with the appetizer. Prime rib with shrimp, then dessert. Server was fun, happy and attentive. We will be regulars from now on. We went back today on our anniversary. Still the best in town.
We came here as part of our birthday weekend celebrations. I had heard the Chop House was one of the best restaurants in the Nashville metro area so we headed to the location in hendersonville. Arrived 35 minutes early to our reservation checked in and ordered a house old fashioned and a glass of merlot form the very friendly bar staff. Our table was ready before I could even close my bar tab. So far I was very impressed with the service, speed and attention to detail. We sat at our table and the waitress was there with waters before I could even taste my cocktail. When I did try the old fashioned it was good very balanced however they do make it like a Wisconsin/Michigan old fashioned so if you hate those ask them for a classic old fashioned. We shared a grilled chicken ceasar salad to start. It was ok but we added some buffalo sauce and it was really good. Ordered the prime rib at medium rare and the fillet at medium well(I know...I know).
The prim rib unfortunately was cooked closer to medium and the aujus had a bacon flavor I didn't much care for. The texture and mouth feel were both very rewarding. Sides were the mash potatoes(decent but not hot) and the mushrooms which were the best thing she ordered. I had the filet and it was amazing. It was cooked closer to medium but I believe the chef did that on purpose and I apprecieate it. We ended up splitting the fillet mignon because we both didn't care much for the prime rib. I had broccoli which was blanched perfectly and the spinach which was very tasty. They knew it was a birthday and had prepared with a card and a desert with a candle. Very classy. On our way out we didn't touch the door the host was there. Throughout the meal glasses were kept full and plates were cleared promptly. The service here was phenomenal. We are still on the look out for the best prime rib in TN. Our next stop will be Ludlow and prime out in Brentwood. I would recomend this place for locals as for the tourists there are better steakhouses in Nashville but when you consider the service and the price(21-45 for a steak) it's a great alternative for a traveler staying on a budget but wanting an elevated dinning experience.
Truly amazing food. The lamp chops were so unbelievably delicious that I shed a tear when I took a first bite. They lose a single point in the atmosphere category for their utter lack of a waiting room.
There were 20 of us at 2 tables. Service was terrific and staff was polite and made it fun. The Delmonico is absolutely the best. I had prime rib and it was so tender. We were there celebrating wedding vows with family from many states. We are planning to get together here yearly in the future.
The food and drinks here are always spectacular. The service was decent and the fireplace on the dinner side of the restaurant gave such a good ambience. It's a little cold in this restaurant so you might want to bring a jacket. Outside of that it's cute especially for a date night. It's also a good choice if you don't like a lot of noise.
Had a great experience tonight.
We were seated fairly promptly, granted we had reservations and it only took 20 minutes to get us seated.
A word of warning to anyone reading this, make sure you have a reservations if it's during a busy period.
The seating by the fireplace was perfect for the cold evening.
Service was top-notch, "Captain" Katherine was our waitress, and she was great.
She made sure we had everything we needed, without being overbearing.
Food came out at perfect timing intervals, and was amazing.
Steaks were cooked perfectly, and were full of flavor.
Thank you all for a great meal.
My husband took me to the Chop House for my birthday a few weeks ago. Everything was absolutely delicious! I had the sirloin steak and twice bake potato. My steak was perfect and the potato was so good. My husband decided to try the lamb shops, he was not disappointed. Our waitress was nice and attentive. I highly recommend The Chop House for a great meal and nice ambiance.
1st time coming here; was our 20yr Anniversary. This was hands down the best steak I've had at a restaurant in years. I had the T-bone & wife had the Ribeye. Both were done perfectly, could have used plastic utensils to eat them they were so tender. We also had the cheese wedges, deviled eggs, loaded baked potato, sweet potato, asparagus, corn creme Brule, Mac n cheese, salad & Hershey cake w/heath bar ice cream. If I have to find a negative with the food .... I felt the deviled eggs were a bit to dense, needed to be creamier. Otherwise it was a great dinner! Thank you.
Had a great date with my husband here. The steaks were good, the atmosphere was nice and I think this will be our go to steak house from now on! We had the ribeye and very much enjoyed it. Very easy to dine here on keto with there being plenty of meat and vegetable options, as well.
Wonderful food and service. Our server was so professional and friendly. He made sure our food was on time and he sung happy Brithday to me. He had a French name, sorry I can't remember it. I had a enjoyable lunch. Five stars 🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟
