Great place for delicious Seafood, also a beautiful spot on the lake! Friendly wait staff. The oysters on the half shell were awesome, very fresh and delicious and serve with plenty of cocktail sauce, horseradish, and lemon. If you want fresh oysters this is absolutely the best place to go! I also had the fried oysters, which were a little over cooked, and I'm not a big fan of the breading that they used, it was a little too heavy. Also it was served with frozen crinkle-cut fries....If they do fresh chips in all honesty they should do fresh fries. It would also be nice if baked potatoes were one ofthe side options. We also ordered the lobster bisque, which was a little disappointing. It tasted a bit too salty and reheated, but the waitress was great and immediately took it off our check ... Although I didn't have the fried shrimp it looked amazing. The steak and biscuits were definitely a hit and a throwback to Ireland's, and brought back good memories! I'm excited to explore some of the other and menu options, and I'm really looking forward to going back

They never fail to have the absolute best staff and the best food. Beautiful setting and really a great place to eat. Dicky is awesome!!
It was our first visit here, we were really impressed with the meal and the service. My wife and I both had the Ney York Strip steak, the flavor was great and was very tender. No doubt in our mind we will take others with us .... Elmer
Directed here by the hotel staff when staying nearby. Crowded with a "happy" crowd! The staff were so friendly and engaging the experience was outstanding. The food was exceptional! I had sea bass tacos with seasoned chips. Excellent. My associate had a flounder sandwich which was huge. Both of us felt the food, atmosphere and service were excellent.
After finding out the other seafood place was closed on Wednesdays, we stopped by Moby Dick's last night. It was great! Fun atmosphere, food was excellent, accommodating staff. We had calamari, grouper, and red snapper, all very good. I've lived in New England and Florida, so I'm picky when it comes to seafood. We'll definitely be going back! Looking forward to going when the weather's warmer and sit outside.
My fiancee and I went Friday night ... there was about an hour wait but we went to the bar and it was so much fun we just decided to eat there ... the staff was wonderful and the food was so good ... we had Lobster tails and filet wrapped asparagus ! Oh my goodness ... so delicious ! And then we had the chocolate fudge cake with ice cream and it was so fantastic ! We are hard to impress but we will be back for sure !
Great neighborhood tavern atmosphere with very polite and friendly staff, great food, outstanding bartenders and very reasonable prices. A tremendous value you will enjoy with your family and friends in a casual environment.

This mine and my husband’s FAVORITE restaurant! We go there every weekend. Every aspect of this place is fantastic - the food, the atmosphere, and the service are all excellent. I wish I could give a higher rating. We highly recommend the hot chicken sliders, steak’n’biscuits, and grouper dinner!!

We love Moby Dicky's - the service is great and the food is always delicious! Dicky and Gina have a great thing going on at their place by the lake! (Great sushi, oysters, shrimp, po boys, burgers, drinks, desserts - go see for yourself!)

The atmosphere is great over looking Old Hickory Lake.
The food was awesome, and the service was great as well.
We didn't wait too long, maybe 10 minutes.
Got a seat outside, and the weather was great.
It's a little pricey portions could be larger for the price. Suggestions add slaw or fries to your fish dinners?
We had the Catfish & The fish and Chips with fries. Both very good flavor and perfectly cooked!

Fast friendly service. The shrimp was delicious. My wife had fish and chips and the fish was tender and Flaky. Very nice location by the lake. For a little bit you would think you was at the ocean.
We love the food and the atmosphere. The staff is super friendly. I had the fish tacos with the tuna, and they were amazing.
Food is a fantastic and very reasonably priced meal for a ton of flavor! This little oasis is hidden in Hendersonville nestled right along the water's edge and is always packed with locals as well as others just trying to get out of Nashville for the day for a great meal!
Great place. My wife and I have lived in Tennessee for 7 years now. We moved here from South Florida. Moby Dickys is the closest restaurant to a South Florida style, fresh fish restaurant we have found in Tennessee. We've had several items from the menu and loved everything we've tried. The staff are very friendly and the atmosphere is nice. Love this place!
I can't speak for the whole menu as I'm not into seafood. Everyone tells me it's great and they are probably correct but I really like their steaks and margaritas.
Service was fantastic and the price is very fair. Everyone has a smile too. That helps a lot.
New favorite place! We ate outside on the covered & partially screened porch. They do have a few chairs out facing the water to sit while you wait on a table, and send you a text when your table is ready. Recommend the calamari for an appetizer. The mahi (& the flounder) was cooked perfectly. Hush puppies were yummy!! Service was good. Casual environment, fairly short wait to be seated. Really enjoyed our lunch here, will definitely be back!
Fun place to grab a drink or dinner. One of the few places I've found in Hendersonville that serves grouper. It's fantastic. Parking can be tricky at peak time, but worth it.
A man had a dream of opening a restaurant, and this guy did it, and did it well!! Moby Dickys is a hit every time! Food tastes great and service is always friendly. The owner is usually around, working hard with his team, and talking with guests. As a former service industry worker (of 15yrs) I’m very impressed with this place! Highly recommend!
Waitress (Grace) suggested some great options. Great view! Try the drunkn' shrimp and lobster bisque. Pictured is the Snow Crab, hushpuppies and street corn. The second is the steak and biscuits with French fries. Super delicious!!!
