This place is fantastic and quite busy. I recommend making a reservation. Parking, as with most places near Hermosa Beach will not be that easy. We got lucky and found street parking just outside. They are metered. Be ready to walk a little bit if you're driving.
You'll find they have a keen sense of detail both from the care taken in designing the dishes both in their flavor and presentation.
We ordered several different meals.
The Dirt Bird Benedict -- Fried chicken and eggs benedict with side salad
China Town Steak and Eggs -- an amazing not so traditional breakfast option. This was my order and it tasted amazing.
Lemon Pancakes -- the pancakes are HUGE and could be split. They tasted amazing and come with a honey dressing instead of traditional syrup. I liked that a lot.
All Hermosa Slam -- a traditional eggs, sausage, bacon that has big portions.
For drinks we ordered Bloody Marys and Beer. I ordered the beer. This place is a brewery as well so you have the opportunity to order their beer.
I highly recommend this place for those who are looking for a new flavor experience. You will be very pleased.
I was with my friend and it was first time to visit here.
I heard that the food here is very good even for Brewery.
And we had Fried Green Olives, Foraged Wild Mushroom, Roasted Salmon and pork something...I forgot the name!
But everything was so good and Janea, our server, was providing us really good service!
Her recommendation was so accurate and everything we ordered was so tasty.
We had good time watching Sunset on Monday night.
I’ll definitely go back for other occasions!
Thank you Janea!!!
We have been here for dinner and brunch and loved our experience both times. Solid option of foods for brunch and dinner with a good drink menu. We loved the Chicken Benedict and the bread for breakfast and good options for a sharing of small plates for dinner. We personally liked the brunch options better but a good option for either meal. Enjoy!
We had the dineLA menu which combines some of the most well-known dishes of this upscale restaurant. Food was tasty but it just didn't quite blow our minds. Portions were good for the price. House brew beers were remarkable, very surprising flavors.
The Brazilian cheese balls with honey were amazing. It sounds like a weird pairing but it works. I got the PIG pop tart as my main course. It was surprisingly good. Like a large empanada except thinner, flaky crust. The marinara sauce was a little out of place though. It would've paired better with a more Hispanic salsa or hot sauce. The bartender was very nice and made a great Jameson mule. Overall a good experience.
