Great food. Be patient if dining in. Tables are hard to come by. Better to pay cash to save money. Parking was also a bit of an issue. Pack your patience but enjoy the food.
Great carne asada. Tender and flavorful skirt steak. Gallo pinto very good.
Understand, you're going to a Fritanga. The original fast casual, lo g before Chipotle. You wait in line, point out what you want from the buffet, pay, and then sit and eat or carryout.
As far as fritangas go, the food was awesome. For me ropa vieja, queso frito y maduros. All as good as they come. Especially the queso.
Portions were also huge, and fresh food came out of the kitchen regularly. My only critique of the food was that the coleslaw was too fresh and needed to soak in the sauce longer. Too crunchy for my taste.
Staff was also very pleasant (not a standard everywhere). Place was clean, booths were nice, not noisy, and the bathroom was the nicest I've ever seen in a fritanga and as good as any national fast casual Chain.
The only reason. That I can't give it 5 stars is service is definitely on Latin time. Line backed up to the door, but no urgency. Stood in line for over well over 10 minutes before being served, and I got I before it backed up.
But if you have a liesurely pace or can go off of peak times, worth the visit.
The service is always friendly and the food is always fresh and delicious I haven't tried any dish at that restaurant that I haven't liked really good food at a reasonable price
Can't get enough of their food. The people and service is incredible, the food is consistently amazing. If you want to give it a try the carne asada is a most have!
Nicaraguan food that is delicoso, fresh and affordable. Don't turn around due to the long line, the food is great and the line moves rather quickly.
