Moving here from a larger city I feel like the restaurant selections are minuscule in Hickory. When I 1st dined at Fourk two years ago I was elated and feel the same way today. The menu has the traditional fused with the contemporary. The food always tastes fresh and delicious! The cocktail list is creative, the wine list is plentiful, and the beer list offers the best from some of North Carolina’s breweries. Beyond the great food and drink, what always draws us back to Fourk, are the attentive and friendly wait staff, bartenders, and owners.
Fourk is a delicious, affordable, comfortable, dining experience with class and style, not only in their decor but also in their creative food and drinks! Chef Joyce along with inspiring bartenders and first class wait staff make this a 'must do' spot for lunch, dinner and large parties. Also impressive is their goal of knowing their customers and ensuring a warm greeting for newcomers and repeat patrons alike.
My favorites are the Quinoa salad along with a bowl of French onion soup, a side of warm bread and a glass of If You See Kay red wine! I highly recommend Fourk for the discerning pallet!
My husband and I ate at Fourk and it was an incredible experience. The food was out quickly and the best meal I have ever had. I also have a shellfish allergy and they are more than accommodating. All of their food is prepared separately even for gluten allergies. I highly recommend fourk if you want a delicious meal in a beautiful atmosphere with great staff.

Had our first visit last night for a recruiting dinner for an out of town applicant. We loved it!! Food was excellent, server was great. Can't believe we've never been before. This is our new go-to place!
Beautiful restaurant! the staff here are super friendly and the food is to die for! Definitely must visit if you’re in the Hickory area!
Went there for my daughter's 40th birthday. We had a large group and we were all seated at at very large table in a separate room. It worked out great. The food is not cheap, but it was great. Ribeye and prime rib very good and cooked perfectly. My only complaint would be that either a salad or soup should be included. Good wine too.
This place is always so awesome from the staff to the delicious food! You can not beat it plus Monday nights they have $5 drink specials & $5 appetizers! So yummy!
Very good! Great flavor! Had the sliders and “beer cheese” soup. Amazing.
Never disappoints. They have great spoons too...but known world-wide for their fourks.
Great place to eat for lunch! Friendly staff and food is really good.
As I said at restaurant. It would be a sin to add A1 to the steak. Absolutely perfect. My wife had the BBQ salmon and I hate salmon but it was delicious.
We stopped in for dinner on a Monday night around 5:30pm. The restaurant wasn't too busy and were seated immediately. The place was clean and staff was friendly. They had an interesting menu. We had the baked brie which had crushed pecans and cinnamon which was really good but really didn't come with enough bread. We also had the ahi tuna appetizer which was delicious. I also had the shrimp tacos which were good but I think they could of used a crema to finish the tacos. Overall a great experience.
Really like the food and atmosphere. Staff was polite and helpful when there were questions about the check. Can't wait to take more people there.
Absolutely delicious! Unique flavor, great service, easy parking... Great all around! That's the Blackberry Wine Cake in the picture... Yummy!!
Last minute decision to take a drive led us to Hickory for Saturday night date night. We are always ready for a culinary adventure. Fourk has some awesome staff that care about customer experiences. We started out with the Ahi Tuna Avocado appetizer which was so delicious my husband ordered another. The sun-dried tomatoes in the seafood mélange added some extra flavor that had me reminiscing of my time in Italy years ago. The manager was delightful. She took time to speak with me even though she was clearly busy & I noticed her running around the restaurant helping everyone and she appeared to be everywhere. You can really see her professionalism and it feels like she is invested in the culture of the restaurant. Our server Dave was a nice young man and did a great job. You have to try Fourk, experience for yourself their culinary delights.
Fourk is an excellent spot if you're looking to enjoy a couple hours of table talk and a delicious meal. The mussels were full of flavor and cooked perfectly in a white wine sauce. We ordered a filet and it was also cooked to perfection. The menu does feature a lot of seafood but they also offer lamb, pork, chicken, and beef. Dress is casual and the bartenders are friendly.
My cocktail as well as my dinner was very good. Cranberry Kiss cocktail and Winter Squash salad with Salmon and split a serving of Blackberry Wine cake. All delicious and would get it all again.
So delicious! Excellent food! Server was great! The hostess wasn’t very nice though and seemed to be that way with a lot of people as I sat there. Didn’t appreciate that.
My husband and I went to Fourk For a date night. First one in a long time (kids). We had the lobster dip, delicious served with wonton chips, brilliant. We had the seafood pasta and pork belly ramen bowl. Chocolate torte & cheesecake with blueberries. Service was 5 star. Smiling faces, quickly served. Very cool atmosphere.
