Outstanding food! I’ve eaten here twice now and loved it both times. The first time I had a omelette with cheese and spinach that was delicious. The potatoes are great and very crispy. The bacon is very good too. Today I had the corn beef which is the best in the area. This is my go to Jewish deli from now on.
Really good. 1st time here. I had the Denver omelet with fruit & pancake & he had the turkey pastrami Reuben with chips.
Coffee was really good too.
Joey was really cool too🙂💘
We will be back.

Max's is great. The food is great, atmosphere is more than fine. I think a lot of people kind of miss the shtick here, it's literally on their t shirts. They have fun. Some people can't handle fun. Go to Max's for some of the best Jewish style comfort food on the planet.
While the food and general atmosphere were great, the service wasn't. We had to ask several times for menus, water glasses remained empty the whole meal, and the food was quite slow in arriving for a mostly empty restaurant. Normally I'm happy to give the benefit of the doubt for service, but this was very far out of the norm.
First visit here. Attentive servers, amazing food, and a clean and light-filled dining area.
Back again a month later. Food and staff still great.
Very fresh bagles, good coffee at reasonable prices. Service was fast and professional.
Amazing Food! Man, what doesn't the menu have? My husband and I quick decided to stop in for breakfast and ended up really looking over the menu, eating a ton!, and stopping at their little shop to spend another 40 dollars on a brownie, home made pot pie, loaf of rye bread, and some cookies.
Stop in. Your wallet and tummy will thank you.
If you have to order only one thing, then make sure to get the matzo ball soup. Huge matzo balls made to perfection each time-- not too hard, nor soft. The soup is delicious as well. Also, try the turkey pastrami with half-sour pickle. All of the food that I have eaten here, as well as that which my guests have tried, is great. Heart and soul warming Jewish deli food!
Delicious food, large portions and very fresh. Take out staff are focused on the business at hand and keep things moving. Beautiful space, casual yet decorated nicely. Feels like an old fashioned deli with an upgrade.
We stopped here for the first time & dined in. Fantastic sandwiches & food. Good service. Everything was phenomenal. If you are in the area and want GREAT deli sandwiches, stop here. You can even buy goodies after your meal to go. It's dine in or take out. I'm so glad we stopped. Definitely worth it.
I don’t believe or understand the low ratings here. Everyone I talked to was extremely knowledgeable and cordial. Everything from the pickles on the table, to the bialy in the bread basket, to the Perfect amount of dill inside the matzoh ball in the comforting, mellow flavored chicken soup was outstanding. The absolute best chopped liver and pastrami anywhere in the Midwest! These places are disappearing in our country and we need to patronize them so they do not vanish.
There aren't many places like Max's anymore...this place is great. Food is always spot on...the wait staff is great, and whether it's a deli sandwich or a bagel with lox...you can't go wrong. Enjoy!
This restaurant like many others needs more help. The cabbage soup is amazing! The corned beef and brisket can be fatty. Overall, fair prices and quiet atmosphere.
