Great little mountain coffee place. Good oatmeal and the vanilla Latte is the best
Fabulous offerings. Best of all there are options for those who don't drink regular milk. My little grandson had hot chocolate for the first time ( made with almond milk and delicious). Great atmosphere and sort of a 'Cheers Bar' ambiance. Makes me wish to be a regular. ( But I live too far away).
I was there on August 22, 2018 on my first visit. I ordered Decaf coffee and a Cheese Egg Sausage Biscuit. The young lady who took my order was very friendly and professional. You could tell that she cared about the customers. She greeted me with a smile just before she asked if she could help me. After taking care of some other customers, and when my food was ready, she took time to bring the Cheese Egg Sausage Biscuit to the table where I was sitting. I received excellent service from the staff at this place. Also, the prices for food in Buck's Coffee Cafe is extremely reasonable for the area.
Woodsy, vintage, cozy sofa or table, and well made coffee make this the perfect mountain coffee shop. It's also one of the best free Wi-Fi spots available. We visit every time we ride through!
I love Buck's Cafe in Highlands, NC. When all other dining places are shut Buck's Cafe is still open. Coffee tastes great and sandwiches have an interesting, delicious twist. Try the salmon sandwich!
Always great cappuccinos and lattes made with the best espresso I've found anywhere. Friendly zer ice, warm and quaint surroundings with old wood floors.
Kind workers, great drinks, plenty of seating. The only con I see is that there is a singular bathroom that gets stinky when the door is closed after each use.
Stopped in here after with the family after a trip to the falls. Very busy but still great service with friendly staff and great coffee. The pastries were soooo good!
Friendly staff, cozy little coffee shop. Humored my request to be referred to as "Elvis" when they asked my name after I placed my order. Nice place to stop and chill when traveling through the area.
There are 2 Bucks - one in Highlands and one in Cashiers. They both have excellent coffee, but the cashiers location has much better seating.

One of my favorite spots in the world! The prices aren’t cheap, but given the market they are completely reasonable. The owner is a huge UGa fan, but even Gators are welcome. :-)
Bucks Chi tea is the best! Great easy laid back atmosphere - a must see while in Highlands, NC
Incredible service, good music, good food and good drinks. Internet connection can leave a little to be desired, but it is Highlands. Thank you Buck's!
