Very friendly; incredible taco salad and very good guacamole. The Mole Pablano (pictured) is not well described in English on the menu, but is a mole sauce over 2 pieces of bone-in chicken, and was quite flavorful. Be aware they do now automatically add a small "service charge" to the bill, seemingly not mentioned in the menu.

I'm writing this on my third visit in two weeks. I can't get enough of this delicious food. It always reminds me of mom's cooking where every sauce is made with care. The margaritas? To die for. The staff? Delivers excellent service every time. I recommend dining in and eating the food fresh.

We stopped in for lunch based on the high Google maps ratings. It's a small place with under 10 tables but also outside seating. The food was great. Tacos come in homemade soft corn tortillas which are doubled so the bottom doesn't split when you fold them. I had the ground beef and a chicken with chipolte seasoning taco. Both were well filled and tasted great. My wife had a burrito and loved it. The owner was present and talking with everyone to make sure everything was well received. Most people that came in while we were there were known by the owner. Prices were very reasonable.

This little hole in the wall was great. Small restaurant but warm and fuzzy. The carne asada nachos were amazing. The pastor burrito was yummy and the asada and pastor tacos were delicious. We will definitely return when we come back to visit our son at Lake Forest College!

This place is legit. The chips were fresh from the fryer and light and the oil they use to fry it tastes light and fresh as well. I got a Cemita, which is a Pueblan type of Torta and it was outstanding. Breaded steak sliced super thin on a tremendously toasted roll, I will be back for this specifically. The atmosphere was nice, neighborly, and an authentic small town feel. Strongly recommend making a visit!

What an adorable new place. We have only been here once but the lunch was tasty and the service was swell. The food is very fresh and high quality. The tangy green tomatillo salsa and fresh chips are wonderful! Our table had chicken enchiladas and a steak huarache. They offer a lot of great looking breakfast treats that I can't wait to go try. It is great to have another small independant restaurant in the area for breakfast and lunch!

Tasty food on our first visit! Service was friendly and other guests were also enjoying speaking with the owner (or relative of owner). Never had an árabe taco before - pork based. So tender and sauce was delicious. Love the home-cooked Mexican food feel! We'll definitely be back.

I was taking some out of town guests to nearby Fort Sheridan for a walk by the lake. Post walk, we went to Doña Paty's for some lunch. Ever since I can not stop thinking about the molè... truly the best I've ever had! All four of us loved our food, including enchiladas, tacos, and fajitas. I am looking forward to returning and again sitting outside. I highly recommend this restaurant and everything about it! 👌
