I absolutely love their Parisian Hot Chocolate & their chocolate bars! The store is super cute and they have such friendly staff. I'm very excited to go back and get more. Their yummy treats make great gifts too! I would highly recommend anyone to get their goodies here :)

Had a sample of the 70% cacao bar at the grayslake farmers market and had to get something to take home. Got the cashews & Hawaiian sea salt pressed in dark chocolate and it is phenomenal! Now if only you could make a dairy free peanut butter chocolate bar

First time trying this at the Wauconda Farmer's Market. I love chocolate and have had it all over the world. This was seriously some of the best I've ever had--fresh, pure, rich taste. So happy to have this close by. Welcome!

I'm impressed with this quality of chocolates I've received from Puna. I got to recently try the horchata chocolate, and it tasted just like horchata, with chocolate in it. What a great invention!

Picked up some of this today at the Grayslake, IL Farmer's Market. The bars included Kona Coffee and Chocolate Nibs, toasted coconut and macadamia nut and Puna Dark. All 70% dark chocolate. Can't decide which is my favorite. They are all fresh and amazing.

You can "feel good" about these products, as they are sourced from small farmers in the Big Island of Hawaii, grown organically and in a sustainable manner, as well as hand picked and crafted...they're also amazingly smooth and tasty (my personal favorite: Big Island Style with Puna Chocolate and Kona Coffee nibs!)

"Do you like dark chocolate?" they said. "Only if it's less than 70%, otherwise it's too bitter," I said. "Ours is different, try it!" they said. YES, yes it is! I can't remember if they said the Hawaiian pods had more butter or more fat in them that make the chocolate sweeter, but they're right! It is super yummy and right down the street, very dangerous ;) Maybe if I walk there I can earn it??? Chocolate coffee, chocolate tea, hot cocoa mix, plus chocolate bars. Family-owned, so nice to have right here on my doorstep!

Really fun coffee/chocolate shop to drop in on! The chocolate is rich, and they have a lot of options to choose from. They have a good selection of drinks that you can order too—if you're looking for just a hint of chocolate in your drink, brah go somewhere else, because chocolate is the star here (though they do have drinks without chocolate I believe). The vibes are cool too—a mix of old Hilo and artsy hipster that hits the right balance. They also have some interesting art for sale, too! Half the store has room for sitting, but it isn't laid out in the best way, so half of us stood while the others sat.

The Puna Chocolate Company Parlor and Café is an absolute delight for anyone with a taste for local artisan chocolates and coffee. The selection here is fantastic, showcasing the best of the region's chocolate and coffee offerings. It's a chocolate lover's dream come true, with a diverse range of flavors to choose from. But it's not just about sweets – they also have a variety of snacks and treats for your four-legged friends, which is a wonderful touch for pet owners. Beyond that, the café offers an impressive array of drink selections, catering to all tastes. If you find yourself in the area, we highly recommend stopping by this charming establishment. It's a true gem for indulging your taste buds and experiencing the flavors of Puna. You won't be disappointed!

Very reputable & well known chocolate grower and manufacturer. Excellent selection of products on sale as gifts / for you to take away, but they also sell a large selection of beverages and treats in their cafe. The Iced mocha (coffee & chocolate) and the Iced chocolate were the best we’ve ever tasted! We spent the rest of the day in Hilo wanting to go back for another. Great staff too, and the cafe is well air conditioned. Lots of indoor seating available. Highly recommended!

OMG.. this place has the best mochas I’ve had and great hot/cold chocolate for kids! If you like coconut, you’ll live the coconut mocha. It was my favorite and something i have never tasted anywhere else in the world. It was a perfect mix of hawaii… coffee, cocoa, and coconut. They also sold local chocolate bars made from island cocoa. A bit pricey, but they tasted fantastic and are a unique gift idea for those unlucky ones that didn’t join you on your trip. They also have some cute Hawaiian Christmas ornaments. Give it a try, you won’t regret it except that you’ll be thinking about your coconut mocha the rest of your trip (or life :)

What a great place, so welcoming and a great assortment of local coffees and chocolates! A shout out to Kristen who works there, she thoroughly explained the difference of the coffees and chocolates. There is even a flight of chocolates to experience the different flavors from the regions of the island. This is a must do! We will be coming back!!

Wow. Check out these coffee and alcohol menus (pics below). They really speak for themselves. I Love all the fancy woodwork tables and the beautiful art! This place stands out from other nearby businesses because of its affordability. Seriously. Take a look and get some local coffee, chocolate, food, and local alcohol too!!

Excellent little spot! So much to choose from. Truly locally sourced, they are mashing cacao in front of you! The lavender latte was ridiculous- I think everything here will be great! They have hard ciders as well... I'm trying that next time!

The quaint bar on the other side of the store makes the BEST espresso martini EVER! The atmosphere is so great for Hilo Town. It’s bright, clean, and the service is also friendly and great.
