I’ve been using express waiters for a few years - it hasn’t always been perfect, and yes the wait times can be considered long, but what people need to remember, they’re ordering from dine In restaurants, mainly. The wait time is coming from the restaurants. I’ve worked at a handful of restaurants that use express waiters, they’re in control of letting express waiters know when the food is ready, food is being prepared for dine in, to go and express customers so of course there’s going to be a wait.
Overall, I absolutely love the service provided and if there’s ever been any sort of problem John has always jumped right in to solve it. Excellent customer service, drivers are always nice and receptive , any issue I’ve ever had has been on the restaurant end.
Highly recommend!! This delivery service is fantastic and their app is great - it is very easy to use and order from. There are menus for every restaurant that uses Express Waiter and they show when the restaurant is open/closed and even allow for advanced ordering. The delivery people were fast and friendly. The fee is insanely affordable and you just include a typical tip with it. My go to meal planner when I’m tired after work or have unexpected guests coming over.
I've been ordering from Express Waiters since 2013, and throughout the years their service has always been top notch. Their website is easy to navigate, and I appreciate the wide selection of local restaurants to choose from. Drivers will call right away if a restaurant is out of something I've ordered and substitutions need to be made. Also, extremely important to note during the pandemic: they always wear their masks properly and keep their distance when delivering food. They might be a bit pricier in comparison to other food delivery services, but I feel good knowing that I'm paying for better quality service and supporting local businesses.

Great experience. No problems any time I have ordered. Pricey though. Delivery fee, service fee, plus tip for the driver. I would suggest that you stick to restaurants you know for delivery. No use spending a lot on food you don't like.
Express waiters has been an absolutely great company I have had the privilege to experience. The drivers and staff are extremely full of aloha spirit and are very commutative if restaurants are out of anything. Prices are really good and compare to uber eats and other delivery services. I’m sure they are already working on this but the only thing that I can say that could be modified is the app and making it more user friendly to everyone but besides for that excellent! Proud to utilize this great business and wish it continued growth and success!
I love Express Waiters! The drivers are incredibly friendly, they are prompt, my food is always handled with care, and the website is so easy to use. I can't recommend them highly enough. They're heads above other outfits like Grubhub, UberEats, etc. I appreciate the local service. ❤️
Express waiters make life so easy! Ibe used them from the very beginning It's, 2023, I think!It's about convenience and great service. All drivers are pleasant and they are as quick as they can be. Owner resolves all issues if any...So glad they are now delivering on Sundays!
My husband and I love this service. We finally have more options beyond pizza for delivery. The service is quick, and you can check the driver's progress either on their website or through the email updates you receive. Their site's ordering system is super easy and well thought-out. We are so glad this exists. For two introverts who work from home and don't like cooking, this is awesome.
It takes a bit long but when you don't have a car or to hung over to drive this service comes in handy. However be prepared to pay more for the service fees for both Express Waiters and restaurant fees.
The drivers are very nice please tip them.
The service is a great idea. They are good on notification and delivery status. Remember the tip is already added to you bill. Service charge too. Without the coupon savings of $3.99 you are paying a out eleven or twelve dollars for the delivery

Great delivery svc. Friendly knowledgeable staff and a fair price. Would give 5 stars but wish they delivered from more NATIONAL Fast food chain restaurants wont say no names because I'm not a PROMOTER OR REPRESENTATIVE FOR ANYONE JUST AN AVG. CONSUMER!
Excellent service, very timely and convenient. Also, my house is a filthy mess, but the delivery man was very professional and did not comment at all to my great relief. Their website is super easy to use too, and they got a good variety of restaurants.
The best delivery service in Hilo hands down. Drivers are always polite and on time. The only reason I am giving them 4 stars is because the management/owner Jon Choi is very rude and will not make good on his errors.
