I met a friend here for a late lunch / early dinner. It wasn't busy at all. Actually, we were the only ones there for a little while. The decor is nice and the staff was friendly. We shared an order of Crab Rangoons (that were mostly cream cheese unfortunately). My friend had Sesame Chicken with broccoli and I had General Tso's chicken. Both meals were delicious and the chicken was nice pieces of white meat (no hard stringy chicken like some places). My only complaint was there was little to no crapmeat in the Crab Rangoons. We had a good laugh at the fortune cookies as mine was empty and her's had an ad for Squatch Bar Soap.

Great food. We ordered Sushi and 2 meals(Mongolian Beef and Shrimp with asparagus). We had lots of left overs. Good quality and good portions. This was our 1st visit, but we will definitely go back.

Our favorite Asian restaurant in Holland. The flavors were authentic, the service impeccable, and the ambiance cozy. I highly recommend it!

Very nice Chinese restaurant.. menu only... many good choices....no buffet.. Can order wine or drinks..lunch menu is till 3 p.m....Get quite a nice size amount for your entree.. Very good.. But.. As slow as business was...had to try to get someone's attention..and repeated a request to get a takeout container for leftovers to take home.. Really...!!! That is unacceptable..given that fact that it was only our party of 2...and I don't think there were any other customers at that time.. That makes this review less complimentary..

This our favorite restaurant. Besides having absolutely AMAZING food (and the best sushi in town), it has this quiet and calm atmosphere. No noisy TVs blaring ball games, no especially loud music. A calm atmosphere where you can have a conversation and enjoy the calm. It is beautifully decorated and the staff is beyond amazing. They also have a four course meal for two that is priced at under $40. It includes soup, appetizer, entree and dessert. Amazing value. The lunch menu is delicious and super affordable. Things to try: Mongolian Beef, Seafood stir-fry (yummy), Beef and Broccoli, vegetarian fried rice, Dragon roll, sweet and sour soup. Absolutely the BEST!

All the food was extremely delicious! It was my first time having Peking Duck and now it become one of my favorite dishes. Since not all Chinese restaurants have Peking Duck, I am really glad that I got to try it here! The workers there were super friendly too, and the interior design is very unique, which makes the whole dining experience quite interesting!

Convenient restaurant close to our hotel. Clearly not the best sushis and rolls I had in my life but honest prices. The presentation of the dishes was sloppy and it was not as tasty as it should be.

Very nice atmosphere inside the restaurant and was seated promptly. Looks are very deceiving. From the outside, it looks kind of seedy with its big yellow signs, but inside is prime. Great food choices on the menu. I highly recommend the steak dish! Very reasonable prices for high-end cuisine.

Delicious food, clean and inviting dinning area, and friendly staff. We’ll definitely be coming back! My 11 year-old adds that it’s very, very pretty inside. :)

Shanghai Grill’s been open for a number of years now, and I think this was the first time I’ve tried their General Tso’s chicken. The food was very good, and it’s always seemed to be good quality. The hot and sour soup is a good balance of spicy and tart, and the chicken was well flavored and just spicy enough. The staff was friendly, and things seemed clean. There’s some sort of construction going on right now, but things seem okay. Their mapo tofu is another favorite of mine. I think Shanghai Grill is probably the best Chinese restaurant on the south side of Holland.

Shanghai Grill & Bar has excellent food and some of the freshest sushi I've had in West Michigan. The atmosphere is quaint and the staff is friendly.

I'm from NY, where Chinese food is ubiquitous and good food is easily found. Here in Michigan, not so much. Until Shanghai!! Might be the best I've ever had.

We had lunch here as a corporate outing. I called a day before to reserve a spot for for our group of twelve. They had a table ready for us and we were seated right away. Really good food and a friendly staff. The waitress was very responsive and refilled our drinks without having to ask. I look forward to the next time we can go!

As I am staying at a nearby hotel, this place is simply a stones throw across the parking lot. The outside decor was a little cheezy, so I truly didn't have high expectations. I was so wrong!!!! The interior is bright and nicely decorated. The waitstaff was very friendly. Their food is the true star. I couldn't decide between sushi or the Peking duck . Wow. The sushi was extremely fresh and flavorful, and very attractively presented. The Peking duck was sliced, deboned and served with slivered celery and green onions. It has accomplished by the sauce, and probably the best wraps that I have ever had!!! The price was excellent! It definitely exceeded expectations.!!

Mango shrimp is good. But Peking duck is bad… It’s like they fried yesterday and didn’t sell it then fried again to sell today. Duck is very hard and dry also stinky. Staff are very kind.
