Try to make it to the lunch special, it stops at 3 pm. I definately recommend the General Tso's chicken combo. All around decent restaurant, very cheap, and lovely owners.
Great family operated restaurant where each dish is made to order. Everything was delicious from the soup and complementary appetizer to the special Generals Tso's Chicken Combo. Great food at a great price. Now this is definitely a favorite so give it a try. You won't be disappointed!

First the food is outstanding, if a little different than you get at the mass produced Chinese places. The flavors are a bit subtler and very tasty. This is the first Chinese restaurant that i went to that cooked every meal or order. The food was amazingly fresh, ample and piping hot. The vegetables were actually crispy. In fact, when the owner saw i hadn't eaten the eggplant that was mixed in with my meal, she told me just tell them next time and they won't put any in, because every meal is cooked to order. But there is also a downside. Initially i was thinking of a considerably lower rating because expectations are everything but after thinking about it, they do deserve the four stars. The downside? The service is slow as compared to most Chinese places and since every meal is cook to order, they come out as they are ready. So there may be a couple of minutes (at most) between meals coming out of the kitchen. Since everybody is doing double duty the waitress isn't always readily available. If you know this going in, it will be a great experience. Also, i noted most of their business seems to be takeout, which would give you the good points and remove the downside. We no doubt return.
Yesterday was the first time I've ever been to this place. The woman who took care of me was so incredibly sweet. On the phone AND in person. She mentioned that she had thrown in a free appetizer,and when I got home I was blown away to see a HUGE tray of three different appetizers. They are so generous!! Their prices are really reasonable too. We all enjoyed the food a lot, and I'm really happy to finally find a Chinese restaurant that's open during this nightmare.
Food is always fresh and tasty. We've been going here for 19 years. We love it, it's the best for miles around. We live over 10 miles away and its worth driving that far. Owners and kids and mom are very friendly. They always give you a couple free appetizers.
The owner is a lovely lady. Provided little puff potato samosa type snack as a cocplement. Always go there for the curried chicken and plain white rice.

Cons
Chinese food is best available late at night and hours are the same as shopping complex hours. Would be nice to be able to order really late. Also no delivery.

This is a hole in the wall run by a great family. They will customize for your taste and they don't take short cuts. The wanton soup will help cure a cold. Regulars are treated like family with hospitality. Small dining room, but they will move tables together for your group.
I ordered tofu in curry sauce, and it was so good.
The lady was so nice to me, I felt as if mom was serving me the food.

Fantastic local Chinese food made the way they make it in Chinatown. All of the portions are big and the combinations are sensible. I pass at least three Chinese take out places on my way home from the train to get to Peng Yuan.
Best Chinese food in Holland/Newtown area. Always friendly and fast. We order once or twice a month and have never had a issue. Thanks for the great service.
I have a food allergy (Celiac) and they always prepare food with that in mind. I've never gotten sick there and the food is great. Very nice owners who prepare food as healthy or as tasty as you like it.
Decent food, great prices. Very nice staff. I get food here every other week or so and they never messed up the order and they've always been polite.
As a former NY'er Chinese food is a stample in our food preferences. Living in PA, I've tried numerous places and all but 1 other in New town failed to come close to "good" Chinese food. This place hit the spot. Nothing extrodinary, just good Chinese food that reminds of me of home.
