The pizza not only was a decent size, it was absolutely delicious. The custpmer service was great as well the older lady that took care of us was extremely kind and sweet.
Great Pizza.Great service. The pizza is so good and well made. The only thing is it’s a grab and go joint so hopefully you like eating while walking. There’s about 4 tables to sit and eat if you do need to sit down. Also Parmesan cheese is a dollar extra.

Absolutely delicious NY style pizza. I was so happy with our pie...great crust & flavor of cheese & sauce. Almost perfect ...there is no sit down. Area but 2 tables outside but we were able to sit there & eat. It's a grab & go. Still great pizza. Highly recommend
*Edit - Were just back from a week in Hollywood and made 2 stops at Mauro's for their huge slices of delicious pizza! The wait times were no longer than 3 minutes and the price is definitely reasonable.

My son and I stopped in for a quick bite during one of the car shows and I'm telling you now - They make a great pizza!
This is pretty authentic New York style pizza and the slices were huge. You can fold it (as I prefer to) or eat it with a fork, even. The crust is thin & crispy and flaked when I folded it. The sauce to cheese ratio was almost perfect. You may initially pause at the price, but as you can see in my photo - they're worth it! We probably waited around 8-10 minutes, but there were a number of orders ahead of ours and they do a great job getting the orders out the door.
Should you find yourself in Downton Hollywood and craving some great pizza, order up some crispy, cheesy pizza from Mauro's.
We love your pizza. Great prices. My boys eat the XL pizza every 3 Sat. of the month at artwalk. My wife eat there a lot as well working at the Hollywood CRA.
Mauros pizza has been a staple in the Hollywood, FL community for a very long time… for years, I would salivate at the site of my peers buying their pizza… but I was vegan… one day, I couldn’t resist the talk of the town and succumbed. Easily the best pizza you can get in Broward. Garlic Knots are awesome.
Visiting from Philly and I’m staying around the corner from this pizza spot. I’ve made sure I got one when we left our hotel for the day and at night when we come back. Like literally for the past 3 days. My friend is annoyed with me 😂😂😂 but y’all don’t understand. This is the BEST PIZZA I’VE HAD IN MY ENTIRE 36 years of living!!!!! It’s literally PERFECT!
Wow! Looking for a quick lunch and saw "pizza by the slice". I was put-off by the $4.50 per slice until I saw that 2 slices took up an entire pizza box! They were HUGE! I got cheese only and it came out fast and was delicious. Two thumbs up from me!
I’ve been going to Mauros for years. This place has New York style pizza (I know because I used to live there) You can fold it like a proper NY slice, or eat it with a fork and knife if you’re into that sort of thing. There are just a couple of tables to eat at outside, so I wouldn’t recommend taking a date here. It’s suited more for carry out or a quick lunch. It’s also open late night and it’s absolutely the best “after the bar” meal you are going to have in Hollywood.

Best pizza! The nicest delivery man. This is my joint. I love the huge slices. Buy by the slice or pie. Open super late. Don’t be surprised if you run into me. Eat outside only. They have tables outside and a special garbage for the pizza boxes. Free 15 minute parking right in front if you can grab one. Plenty pay parking all along Hollywood Blvd. And parking lots in the area.
Great service on the phone and in person my wife and I are in Hollywood Florida for a cruise and stopped in for a white pizza that was great!! Thanks and stay soiled in your great service!!!
Born and Raised in Brooklyn NY East New York at that and moving to Florida was very difficult to find anything even remotely close to our pizza. However, Mauro’s is the closest by far. The moment I walked in I knew I made the right choice. My go to pizzeria!
Pretty sure this is the closest to a nyc slice I’ve tried so far. The little space even reminds me of a place you would find in nyc, just grab a slice and go type of place. I will be returning here when the craving hits!
I've heard amazing reviews about this place and living in NYC, I do love a good pizza spot. What can I say? Well, I was really impressed. This is a really, I mean really close contestant to a New York pizza slice. It wasn't exremely cheesy which I liked. The crust was thin and had a nice crunch at the bottom, which I enjoyed. It had the grease, great cheese and sauce. Awesome place! I'd say this is my #1 pizza spot away from home.
I was walking downtown Hollywood and stopped by this pizza place not knowing whether the pizza was good or not. The slices before 5 o’clock are only $4.75, & the slices after five are only $5.25. The slices are pretty big and they’re cooked pretty quick, also they’re cooked on a stone oven which makes it even better. I would definitely recommend the spot anyone who likes stone cooked pizza. Definitely one of the best pizza spots I’ve tried in Hollywood.
PS They tie up their oregano in little bags like your buying weed which makes 10X better.
