Been here few times already.
All I can say is, it never disappoint me. Love their food and the place. Service is always friendly. Most of the time the wait is long, but it is always worth it. My fave place for waffle, french toast, and Eggs Benedict. Yum!
Great place for breakfast with delicious food and a friendly staff. If you dont want to wait for a table avoid going during peak hours . Definitely worth the wait though.....
The food is EXCELLENT. Not only are the breakfast items extremely delicious, but the lunch options are equally tasty. The food comes out fast and the service is very friendly. The line to be seated can be long BUT it moves fairly quickly. Don't be intimidated by the long line, you won't wait long!
Cafe Kaila is my number one choice for breakfast and lunch,I go there every Monday, food is always fantastic!..very friendly staff!..awesome place!..
Best breakfast in town!!! The staff is friendlyl and attentive, especially Kalai. I will always be a regular. Kim
The food was great.staff very friendly. Love the coffee mug with the smiley face. One of the best places in town for breakfast!! Visiting all the way from the Freeport Bahamas
Great food. Excellent service.
Frequented this spot for brunch and was consistent in food and coffee service.
The wait for table speaks for itself.
Excellent food and good coffee! Try the eggs Benedict; always cooked perfectly! Also, highly recommend the cinnamon roll waffle when you feel the need to indulge. You won't be disappointed!
The original eggs Benedict, veggie scramble and pancakes come highly recommended by me! Fresh, hot food with great, relaxed service. Glad I found this place. I will most definitely visit again when I'm back in Oahu!
Never disappoints! I’ve been over 20 times and never had a bad experience with waiters or food quality
Always enjoy my breakfast wraps with black coffee. The staff is very friendly, I never had a bad experience with them. Keep it up!
Love this place!!! Great food, wonderful service!! Congratulations Cafe Kaila for "Best Breakfast" 2017 Hale Aina award!!!!
Every dish we ordered was delicious. Staff was very nice and accommodating. We will definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a good breakfast spot.
Absolutely wonderful cafe!! We tried it the first day of our vacation and went back everyday. Food was delicious each time, regardless of the dish!! Staff was amazing and so very welcoming, would absolutely recommend it to any traveler!!
Cafe Kaila is my favorite local breakfast spot! Their food is always amazing, especially their fried rice and their French toast. I love everything I've tried and I enjoy have the choice of local options (Portuguese sausage, spam, etc). It is small so there's often a wait on weekends and holidays and it can be really crowded inside, but the food is very worth it. The staff are always prompt and friendly despite how busy it is, so props to them!
Breakfast here is very good. I enjoy the veggie scramble with potatoes and toast. The LocoMoco is quite good also. Only negative is there's a bit of a wait to get in unless you're early or later than say 1:00pm
WOW, another incredible breakfast joint!!!
Our Sunday morning fix couldn't have been better!!! What a lovely meal we had!! Lip smackingly good food, amazing coffee and fantastic service!! We're so impressed!!
Shout out to Makana for his fantastic service!! Thank you so much!!
Per Makana's enthusiastic recommendation, we opted to have the corned hash with 2 eggs and it was delicious!! We enjoyed every bite of it!!
We also had a bowl of fresh cut yummy fruits!! And an absolute winner of a croissant!!! It was just so perfect!!!
We're so happy 🤩
Delicious breakfast! Restaurant is so cute and quaint, service was quick and fantastic!! My three boys loved their food and ate every bite. Cinnamon french toast was excellent and the chicken & waffles was AMAZING. You won't regret stopping here!
The food was delicious and very filling!
Mike was amazing and the other staff was very friendly. Although there was a wait, it went by fast and we received our food quickly once ordered. We’ll be back!
The food is good - nothing remarkable, but reminiscent of good old neighborhood diner. It is often very crowded and loud, but the open space and plenty of natural light balances hectic crowds. Parking is very tough challenge, particularly if you have an SUV of any size - best to walk to it.

This is my favorite breakfast/brunch restaurant. I've been frequenting it for years, tried many items on the menu and I'm never disappointed. My friend and I shared the ham and cheese sandwich and the special waffle of the day, Cinnamon Roll. Both dishes were delicious. There is usually a line outside the restaurant and you sign in to get a table but there wasn't one so we went in and because it wasn't busy, there were many empty tables, and no wait staff around so we seated ourselves. That is a no-no! A server came to our table and abruptly and a bit rudely told us we shouldn't have done that perhaps the table hadn't been wiped clean (but our server assured us it had been). So be warned, always wait to be seated although there is no sign outside or inside the premises that asks you to wait to be seated.
Went here from breakfast. Got the special coconut Belgium waffle, special fried rice, eggs Benedict and lemon French toast. Everything was delicious and well priced. The roasted season potatoes were so good. Bit of a wait, 30 min for breakfast for four people but worth the wait. And the staff were super friendly, attentive and answered all our questions. 90 minute time limit but did not feel rushed at all and the food came out really quickly
