Definitely one of our goto places to have some, what I call, asian street food. Every time we dine in, we can literally feel the spirit of Colin and Anthony Bourdain. It’s as if they are dining with us and enjoying the legacy classics. Amazing fresh food and cool ambiance. Go during the weekdays as the weekends are jammed packed.

Location & parking makes it less desirable to give this place a chance. But don't drive past -- every meal we ordered was savory & delicious, desserts included. Racked up a 300+ bill for Father's Day but it was worth it! Managed to get some pics of what we ordered, the others didn't get a chance 😆 and service is excellent! Just one less star due to limited parking but the place is 5 STARS for sure. Worth it!

Amazing, plentiful family feast for the 4 adults in my party. Everything came out fast but was fresh so it's safe to say that the restaurant is very efficient! The drinks were great as well with an ambience that was pushed to sweeter heights by the lady serenading the whole restaurant with her voice and choice of instruments. What a great experience! The chicken was so crispy and juicy and flavorful. The mountain of rice and fried pork chops were no slouch either. I didn't even try the edamame as I had eaten too much of the beef first! 😅

A positive experience with the Side Street Inn staff and restaurant. From setting up the reservation for 17 - a mix of kids, adults and seniors. The restaurant did a great job accommodating our large group. Kudos to our server Kaila, she was attentive and advised to order ONE for 6-8 guests from Chef Colin's Classics pre fixe menu. It did not disappoint the 'classics' were more than enough for our group as we also ordered gizzards, ribeye and a chef special of wings. Great food was accompanied by live music/entertainment which complimented a great night. Will be visiting again.

The portions are huge!!! We tried to control what we ordered and still had a ton leftover! Parking is very limited and reservations are suggested. The garlic edamame was amazing as was the fried chicken. The pork chops were a bit overcooked, and the ribs were yummy but I've had better down in Charleston SC. It's a fun place to eat, especially with a large group and I would recommend it to people but I wouldn't run back when we are in town again.

This was my first time at the original location, as I have only been to the newer one. They don't offer the same things though, so keep that in mind! This location does have live music which was a nice touch but I prefer the other one. The two kinds of poke at the other location were amazing while this one was limited to the flavor of the day. The service was a bit slow, but they were friendly and didn't rush us. I walked in and waited awhile for someone to come up to us to help us get seated, but we were ignored so I had to go up to someone. They proceeded to tell us they were full so they sat us at the bar. There were at least four empty tables the entire 1.5 hours we were there but it's not a big deal. I just didn't like that no one acknowledged us. The boneless kalbi was really good though and as always get the Mac salad and furikake rice!

Service was great! Our servers came regularly to check up on us and refill our drinks. They were also very polite and funny. The food came out quickly and in huge portions. Definitely bring your appetite and be ready to eat. Everything came out hot and fresh. In addition it tasted delicious too. I would definitely come back with a group again. There's a lot of seating.

Oooooh this place is it!!! So first off, have to commend the staff on friendliness and service. Making reservations was super easy via email as they were respondent and friendly. Even mentioned it was to celebrate my birthday, and they had the live singer sing to me!! Our server was knowledgeable about the menu and gave us great recommendations. We ordered: sautéed mushrooms, garlic edamame, Kal bi chicken, the signature garlic chicken, and a side of white rice with furikake. The apps were delicious, mushrooms had a great sherry and parmesan umami flavor and were plentiful, and edamame were also a huge portion with TONS of garlic. In fact while I'm at it, all the portions were HUGE. Kal bi chicken was okay, nothing that blew me away. Signature fried chicken though was sooooo good. Perfectly fried and crispy and had tons of flavor. The only negative was that it was slightly overly salty with the fish sauce marinade, but the white rice certainly helped to offset. I have tons of items I want to try next time (like the noodz). This is definitely a great place to dine family style with others. The place can get pretty loud, especially with live music and during the dinner rush. There's cheap valet parking right outside, but also 2 garages right across the street. The upper one was $5 cash.

Haven't been since the old style with the barstools so over 15 years give or take a few years......lol..... It was nicely renovated and spacious. The food was good too. Must come with a group of people because the servings are huge. Ordered fried noodles (yakisoba), fried rice and garlic chicken with a side of potatoe mac salad. Just a party of 2 and we didn't even dent the portions of food. We will be back with the whole family. Highly recommended.

We can’t rave enough about the food. We ordered the assorted food platter. An assortment of their most favorite foods. We were a total of 5 people and the food was MORE than enough. We actually took some food home. There was live music.
