WOW! I came across this spot on Yelp and decided to stop there for breakfast after hiking Diamond Head Summit. This is one of the best breakfast I've ever had, hands down. The staff is super friendly. Such a quaint spot with delicious food! I will definitely come back!

Wonderful! What an amazing start to the weekend!! Had a satisfying breakfast here. Tried the Hawaiian loco moco for the first time and loved it!! Generous quantity & everything tasted great! Such a well run operation too. The young staff were not just friendly but were super efficient as well. The food came out quick and the coffee was great as well! Shout out to Tyler for the wonderful suggestions and service! During one of our stops at a touristy look out, we heard locals gregariously recommending Moena Cafe and we're so glad we ate there!!

The atmosphere is "Tropi-cozy". Its an intimate space, with island vibe decor and soft lighting. The highlight of this place...the thing that brings me back from Atlanta, vs. Going to a different island- is the fried rice and egg breakfast. The egg is always perfectly cooked and Moena makes the best fried rice I've ever had. I tried an Italian cream soda for the 1st time ever and it was so cool, so yummy! I thought it might taste like a melted ice cream float but noooo. It's so much better!

I got the avocado toast which had lemon arugula avocado goat cheese eggs and Siracha aioli. I loved that it came with eggs. It is a bit pricey $17. My husband got the MC breakfast it came with fried rice and their local sausage. It was a hearty breakfast not our favorite. The coffee was good. I got an iced matcha mcnut latte. Interesting flavor but next time I would go with a regular matcha latte. Great service and great atmosphere

We chose this place on a whim after being unable to find the precious breakfast place and it ended up being the happiest mistake. We did have a 20 minute wait but it was more than worth it. They had THE best fried rice and pancakes I had on the island. And I had those staples most days I was there. You will not be disappointed. Their food is delicious.

Great stop after hiking Koko head or Makapu’u lighthouse trail. The food is amazing, we all loved our dishes. Avocado toast is the best I’ve ever had- get the French bread so it doesn’t get soggy - add bacon! I ordered the eggs scrambled. The corned beef hash was really good and the Benedict’s are all great, the Passion fruit Guava drink is phenomenal. Can’t go wrong here !

Outstanding Hawaiian secret in Hawaii Kai area off the beaten path. This is a must stop at place if you are in the area or you will regret it. Super yummy food, reasonable prices, and super friendly staff. You wouldn’t otherwise notice this place, but highly recommend you get a coffee and meal here! Big parties call ahead (we did, for a party of 8) or be prepared to go on the waiting list. Yes it’s that good, there is a waiting list!

A M A Z I N G This cafe is the best one on the island. There is not one item in the menu that is not great. I’m in love with their fried rice. The flavor is incredible. Their pancakes are huge so definitely order those to share. I just wish they had more specialty coffee. Staff is always incredibly sweet and we keep coming back for more!

Cute small cafe with great food. You sign in and wait outside to be seated. It fills up quick. I stopped on the way to Koko crater railway hike . I got the MC breakfast. It was delicious! Everything cooked perfect, fresh, potatoes were perfectly crispy on the outside Portions were good. I was checking out other peoples food and everything looked so good. It was around $40 for 2 breakfasts and 2 drinks.

Our server, Tyler, was excellent and provide the best service. Food was delicious and served to prefectures. Great place to eat breakfast after completing the koko head hike. Good vibes. The biggest downside is the wait. Which means the food is good. The turnover is slow. I

Love this place. I have been going for several years. The staff are friendly and attentive. They are very busy but the food comes relatively fast. I have liked most items I've tried on the menu. They have a wait list you sign in on out front. They will call your name out loud when your table is ready so don't move away too far. This places fills up fast so go early.

Sandwiches were good. Latte was also nice but cold brew was a little weak. If I could do it again I’d get the chips on the side instead of a salad as the dressing was a bit peculiar.
