Always passing this place and finally decided "why not"... Am glad I finally went in before the lunch crowd.
Ordered the lunch special a delicious hand-crafted Neapolitan Funghi (mushroom) pizza with a kale creaser salad and a beer! Will definitely be returning.
I really liked the atmosphere, service and food quality! I can appreciate that the owners went All the way Napoli to study the craft of pizza making, volunteering at a pizza restaurant during the evening after pizza school. That's some serious dedication and passion. Highly recommend this restaurant!
Ordered the real Hawaiian Pizza & Pesto Puzza. Delicious. The dough Homemade, soft & airy with every single bite. You'll find yourself enjoying the crust. The cheese and tomato sauce are in just the right portions as well. As for the Laulau, lomomi, it works great on pizza. The dessert calzone is to die for. Nutella banana & strawberries fill the inside. Whip cream & powdered duvet on top. The Brick Fire mule was perfect too. A spicy take on the classic that will clear your sinuses
Great place. Little upscale in the right way, great choices in drinks and pizza. Loaf the waiter was amazing. I want to go back to enjoy his service! Fantastic crew.

Awesome pizza, brick oven old country pizza. Kids that normally will not touch, any toppings other than cheese loved this handmade master pizza!!

I must say that I was very surprised how delicious the pizza were. It was a tossed up between the Mama Mia and the shrimp.

Staff is phenomenal. Excellent service! The gorgeous drink you see is the spirit walker 10/10! We ordered the meatballs and a pepperoni pizza with the diavola added. Food came fast and was so delicious!
My family and I recently visited the Amalfi Coast, and dinner at BFT took us back to Italy. The wine, pizza, pasta, and dessert were delicious. My favorite was the mushroom pizza. Our server Sam was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. Excellent!
Impressive pizza oven. Tastes like homemade pizza dough. Wish it was more crisp on the bottom. The veggie pizza had great flavor from the basil, mushrooms and san marzano tomatoes. The Manila clams were very tasty and spicy. Loved the crunchy bread toasties to soak up the sauce.
Normal pizza is 12", cut in 6 slices. Pizzas have two types of sauces: San Marzano (Red sauce); Besciamella (White sauce). The pizza is thin with a puffy chewy crust.
To start off, we had the House Meatballs as an appetizer. The appetizer had 3 large meatballs (~2" each) and 3 slices foccacia bread. Meatballs slightly spicy and very good.
We tried the Mamma Mia pizza, which is like a meat lovers pizza. We also tried the Funghi pizza. We had a party of five and shared the dishes. Both of these were good.
Lunch option: 8" pizza w/appetizer or salad.

Parking entrance is on 9th Avenue which is one way. Best to turn from Waialae Avenue onto 9th Avenue.
Great service and fun pizza place with many options to choose from. They also have specials that can be fun for patrons to try. The pizza is 12" and divided into 6 slices (if I'm not mistaken) so they are good for sharing if you are not a big eater and there are options for meat lovers and vegetarians. For a group of
0It does get pretty crowded so it's best that you make reservations ahead of time. They can also cater to large groups well without feeling like you're breaking the bank. I also like the service, the staff were all warm and fun to talk to and gave excellent recommendations. They also have fun desserts and we had the pistachio cheesecake and cannolli. For a group of 10 people we split about 6 pizzas, 2 cannollis and one cake.
I could not have been happier to have dined here when I did. After being out all day they were more than able to make accommodations for myself and my stroller confined canine over at the bar. The energy was lively and the staff were friendly. The pizza I had was great, but I would like to try more the next time I visit. I'll be excited when I do!
Good pizza and prices and loves the selection of wines. Wasn’t really impressed with the Caprese but the overall atmosphere was excellent - would come back again

Best pizza I’ve had in Oahu and one of best Ever! Must try for food and excellent service.
This place has been on our radar for a while. we thought about having Italian food tonight and said if it was meant to be we would eat here.
We drove by a parking spot right in front of the door.
We have been here 3 times and have been pleased with the food and service.
We will be back again to try more from their menu.

Great experience! We have been wanting to try this new pizza place for a while now. It was in the neighborhood and so we went on a Saturday evening and thought we would have to wait. Nope even though the restaurant was full our timing was perfect because there was 2 seats at the bar open.. Front row seats to the show as they may say, The atmosphere in the restaurant was very nice, new and fresh. The bartender came right up and introduced herself "Ari" I believe was her name, she got us waters and gave us a few minutes to check out the menu. We started out with drinks -The Roman Hills and the San Carlo they were very good and crafted to perfection. We ordered Fresh Pulled Mozzarella appetizer and the soup of the day which was a mushroom soup both very good. I asked Ari what was good (I know waiters hate that question but since we had never been there I was curious) she told us that the flour they used was the best quality and the water was a certain PH and that is what makes their pizzas different. So pizza it was we ordered their "Mamma Mia!" pizza with Black Truffle Pate added to it. Wow it was so good, I do not usually eat the crust of pizzas but the dough was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft and melt in your mouth on the inside. The only down side was that the crust on the bottom of the pizza was very flimsy kind of had to fold it over to be able to pick it up to eat. We will definitely be back and will recommend it to anyone that wants a good pizza experience.
Authentic and original (strange combo) spot. Pizza is proper delicious and the salads and drinks are fantastic. You don’t have to fly to Italy to get a taste of its cuisine because it’s here in Oahu!
You need a reservation, but the lady on the front was nice and let us eat at the bar. We chat with the bartenders, we saw them make amazing drinks. It was a wonderful night.

Been wanting to try this place out. I love pizza and use to work at a place that served this kind of neapolitan pizza. The kind that uses fresh hand stretched dough and san marzano tomatoes.
Well, we tried something different and was a little disappointed. Dough chewy and yes I know it's not cpk or dominoes. I can still appreciate the craft of making pizza from scratch.
Papadelle pasta was to die for. Fresh pasta is the way to go. If you need a good pasta this is the place.
Overall service was okay, drinks came out reasonably quick. Lots of staff walking around not really doing much. Our server didn't come back to us after we stopped eating for about 10 minutes.
Would have been nice to have a check back here and there. Dessert was good.. pistachio oreo cheesecake. Smooth and light. Nice way to end the meal.
To the girl who opened the door as we exited. Thank you. A simple gesture as such will keep me coming back.
For lack of service and attentiveness.. I hate to do it but 4 stars is as high as I can go.
We moved to Oahu from Brooklyn and have been missing some foods we love.
To my great delight, the pizza, pasta (specifically the Bolognese) and the cocktails were SO delicious, and reminded me of some favorite places in Brooklyn (like the drinks at Clover Club, the pizza at Sottocasa and the pasta at Cafe Spaghetti)
The staff were helpful and nice, the food was outstanding. I am already looking forward to coming back.
Naples, Italy style Pizza in Hawaii. Thin, chewy with quality toppings.
They have a good lunch menu, too. Appetizer & Entree choice. I was happy with my salad and the Pasta of the day choice!
The best pizza I had in Hawaii. It tastes real Italian restaurant while price is quite reasonable. The staff is friendly and the service is also not slow. I just had one appetizer and pizza but I definitely try other plats when I visit Hawaii next time. I would highly recommend here when you want to eat real pizza in Hawaii.
If you, like me, are an East Coast transplant who cries all the time over the lack of pizza (real pizza) on this island, you can stop crying now. When I say I shed a tear of joy, I mean it. Pure, Neapolitan pizza, joy. Even if you're not an East Coaster who's been missing pizza, you'll still find this extremely delicious.
The chewy crust and marzano sauce are perfect. There are traditional pie options, and a quite a few other delectable sounding combinations. They also have a list of goodies you can add to any pizza (ricotta, extra meats, cheeses, egg, etc). We split a pasta special similar to a clam linguine and there wasn't a drop left on the plate. I ordered the Enzo pizza, which is their margherita plus salami and fresh ricotta.... happy tears inducing. Get the Cannoli if you have room!

Ok so Brick fire is a really cool restaurant in China Town. The ambiance is great, the exposed brick, the brick oven in the corner; you can't beat it. We started with a few appetizers, I rarely order meatballs any where I go, I just do other people's meatballs but figured I had to give them a try. They were pretty good, I'm not a fan of beef in my meatballs hence why I don't ever order them out. I personally make mine with pork and have just become accustomed to this flavor. Overall though I think they did a good job. The best thing they did was use San Marzano for their sauce !!! Someone here definitely knows what they are doing. Now here is where things went off the rails for a minute. The fresh pulled mozzarella 🤦♂️ well the only thing that was pulled was the package rapper. There is no way it was fresh, it was the exact shape of the cheese I get at Target and cut the exact same way. Quite frankly unless you're making your own buffalo mozzarella you wouldn't get high marks from me anyway. The bread was great that came with it but what about some oil? What about some vinegar? Zero condiments for the bread or cheese. The pizza came out hot and fresh, had a great Smokey flavor and tasted good. We'll definitely have to go back and try some of the others for comparison. Fortunately we were there early enough to enjoy the pistachio cheese cake , not to sweet , great flavor. If you're in the area definitely give them a try.
