NABE FUN. Totally fun to select your own Nabe ingredients. It was delicious and the service was great. A fun place to go with friends.

This is one of my favorite places to eat in all of Honolulu. The food is excellent and the service is fantastic! Wonderful atmosphere and fun promotional nights upstairs. If you are looking for a good bowl of nabe make sure you stop by and have dinner here! It's not to be missed! Enjoy an after dinner drink upstairs at the Loft for added fun!
Great food for a great price. I had lunch here and they give alot food for the price if your done with your first rice bowl there is no additional charge for the second or maybe 3rd with your meal. The owners are also the ones that serve you and get to know you on a personel level. Awesome customer service. Thanks Riki & Rika.

We've been to this location before, & I do enjoy coming here @Ichiriki near Ala Moana Shopping Center.
Just remember to call in for a RSVP, we didn't because we are "Spur" of the moment Foodie kind of peeps here, haha.
My Hubby didn't care for the Soup that much, (a lil more on the Saltier side, maybe), But I enjoyed everything from this Restaurant, Food, our Wonderful Waitress (JAIMIE!!!), she So Awesome & Nice & very informative about the Menu Selections, etc, including the Desserts we didn't order any because we were SO full from our Dinner! Lol!
Other than that, please give this place a try if you've never been here before, sit down & dine-in, Relax & start Cooking your Hot Pop goodies right away :).
Luckily for me, my Husband Cooks our Hot Pot food for us, cause he loves to Cook & I suck at Cooking anything, I just am not good at Cooking :D.

Ordered 4 sukiyaki USDA prime beef. It is very delicious. Get to cook my own sukiyaki. Call ahead for reservations. Parking is street parking only. Service is nice. Menu has Shabu Shabu option but sukiyaki cook on the table is rare. There is no all you can eat option. Everything is a la cart.
It was my second time eating here. The food was delicious although a little bit expensive. Regardless, I think it is at a good price. I would recommend others to dine here. The waiters and waitresses seemed a bit busy but were very nice. There is a military discount here. There are vegan options available.
Go for the happy hour menu after 9, it is worth it. So many items at a discounted price plus you can get a pitcher of Kirin for $15.
The food is a great and the service is great. I will say that they did bring everything out fast as well.

Great place to come on a rainy day. I had reservations and still waited 10 min to be seated. Service was a little slow today because it was busy. Server tried to memorize our orders but constantly brought the wrong dishes to our table...other than the service...the soup was great!!!

Casual spot for an incredible Japanese food experience. Their main plate is nabe, a Japanese kind of soup that you can add almost any ingredient that you can think of. Very fun. Very tasty, try any of the mushrooms. Inexpensive, especially during happy hour. Would come back in a heartbeat. Their staff is friendly, helpful, and attentive.
They liked my fit, so I'd give them 6 if I could.

This is my favorite place to eat hot pot! I especially love the happy hour specials. The staff is always friendly and make the experience enjoyable.
The food is always good never have a bad experience with the food although the service was lacking have to wait a very long time just to get a bowl of rice and even getting the egg I have to be sarcastic and ask them are they finding the egg somewhere in the back and are they growing the rice somewhere. This is just constructive criticism that won't discourage me from going there I've been going there for many years and I will continue going there and hopefully next time I go there the service will be better
Best hot pot I've ever had from a restaurant! & dessert was phenomenal! Got the brownie & green tea shave ice.
Also great service! The sweetest lady helped our table. Definitely going to be returning.
Best Japanese Shabu Shabu place, simple, meat and veggie with wide variety of soup bases to try, meat selection is good, fresh veggie and happy hour dishes are good to try, service could be better in terms of promptness, interior deco got a little out dated but maybe they are transitioning into an updated interior deco. Parking is behind the entrance for $1-2, no validation offered. As of now, they offer discounted gift cards during the year end holiday season and military discount
Good service and the food tasted great. Got the Ahi Katsu (amazing) and a Pirikara broth Short Rib Shabu Shabu with Udon noodles. I left the restaurant very full (there was still a bit left in the pot) and satisfied. The picture with the meat already had some of the meat put in the pot, so imagine the full plate filled with meat.
More of a traditional restaurant, good customer service and the food was good. It can be challenge getting in and out of the seating position!
Location near Ala Moana shopping mall. staff was friendly and helpful from the beginning to the end of our meal. The food was delicious as always. We arrived in time for happy hour, so it was nice to get a few dollars in savings. The drawback was that it didn't come with the dipping sauces. Luckily, we could add them to our meal for $1 each sauce. we had 7 people, and we fit nicely in two 4 seaters that were right next to each other. I'm not a fan of the shared parking lot behind the restaurant with the limited number of tight spaces available. Would ahve given 5 stars bit the Aiea location has a mich better searing and view due to location. This is a good location to the mall, and the food and service are solid. we will be back again.

The food was good, the service is good, the restaurant was clean. It is a great Hot Pot place. Oh and the dark shoyu sauce my favorite part.
I really like this!! The nabe was REALLY delicious! I like the broth of Paitan and the rib eye chanko and the happy hour Kobe beef set.
Ichiriki has a great BUILD YOUR OWN NABE lunch special - for only $11.95! The nabe is served with 10 vegetables - Chinese cabbage, enoki & shiitake mushrooms, tofu, kuzukiri, abura age, chives, gobo, homemade tsukune, and rice. I chose the Pirikara (Spicy Shoyu) broth and USDA Choice Shortrib (3oz). The broth was super delicious!!! Service is attentive and friendly. See my pictures!
