Affordable and healthy if you're looking for plant based food! Everyday they change the menu and you have about 10 items to choose of the menu and you can choose how many side dishes you'd like, the portions are very generous and I always have to take some leftovers back with me. I love Asian vegetarian food because they're very creative with their dishes and provide meal substitute that still makes you feel full. They also sell the substitute meat and other ingredients frozen which I find helpful. Parking around the area is hard to find and also expensive, the public parking lots nearby would cost $6 per hour.
Very tasty vegetarian plate lunch place in downtown Honolulu.
They don’t have many entree options. The popular one sells out fast so you’d have to wait for the next batch to be made. Worth the wait, but if you don’t have time, whatever they have on the spot is very good.
I don’t normally like fast food type of fried noodles but I liked theirs very much.
They will be closed for one month for renovation work. Look forward to going back when they return.
The best lunch deal on the island for vegetarians. The food is always so good, the staff is kind and sweet. The curry on Mondays is my favorite.
First time in a vegetarian restaurant and it was delicious! We went here on Thursday and the menu is different every day. I had the tofu and omg it is super super delicious! The price was reasonable and affordable. You will leave the restaurant feeling full and not feeling sluggish. Good food, enough space for a party of 2-6. Support local!
The lunch plates / Taiwanese cold desserts are refreshing and clean. I don't get sick from their food. And their prices are reasonable. Just wish that they would extend the operation hours.
Beautiful temple, food was delicious and inexpensive. I had the half/half noodles and veggie rice with tofu skin and kabocha pumpkin and every bite was a perfectly spiced delight. They also had a fridge and freezer for vegetarian products to take home.
This is my first time trying a vegan restaurant. I do have to say it wasn’t bad but i don’t have anything to compare it to though. It’s was nice clean place. The line went fast and was price was about average. The plum tea was awesome! I do know that.
Peaceful and beautiful restaurant. The food is excellent and affordable prices, value for money. I have been to 3 vegetarian restaurants so far and this place has the Best vegetarian food in Hawaii. I definitely recommend this place and would come back.
So close to where I work and so delicious! Today was my first time trying them and the food was amazing. I honestly don’t remember what I ordered but just knowing it was all vegan made it that much better!
Typical fare for a restaurant run by a Buddhist temple association. Good food, fair prices. I'd be lucky to have a lunch spot like this near my work
I was blown away at how good their food is, consistently. And, served with kindness.
Amazing VEGAN selection. Staff are always super friendly and treat you like family. They always remember their customers and their preferences.
Food is delish and environment super clean.
Clean, counter order and plenty of seating. Lunch was filling and delicious. $10 for one starch and 3 sides. highly recommend!
Really happy to have found this place while visiting Honolulu! All vegan, large portions for a great price. The food was fresh and delicious. As a tourist, this was the perfect place to stop for a quick, casual lunch.
Great place for lunch. The choices are always very flavorful and healthy. The veggie pancake is very good and tasty. The vegetarian "meat" has an interesting consistency, slightly rubbery, but I like it and the flavor makes it too tasty to pass up.
The vegetables are always fresh and they have mini and regular size plates to go and eat there. The atmosphere is very nice, clean and friendly. I've never had a bad experience.
Awesome Buddhist vegetarian restaurant. Casual, comfortable and delicious food.
Had an enjoyable lunch here whilst visiting from the UK. Service was very friendly. We had the 4 sides combo with drink. Food was tasty and were given generous portions.
Open for a short time every day but completely worth it!
The food is not exactly like what most people think of Chinese food but it didn't fail to satisfy. $12 gets you 3 choices & rice or noodles. Not the cheapest but it's vegetarian and portions were generous.
Water & tea were available for no extra cost.
The menu changes daily.
My only grumble was the absence of white rice... i know brown rice is healthier but as a life long consumer of white rice, it's hard to change. On the other hand, the noodles were great!
I been here twice, and I have to say that the food is delicious and the establishment is ultra clean. I am not a vegetarian or vegan, but I still enjoy the food the serve here and their daily menu. I will say that your experience depends on which day you go. When I visited on a less busy Friday, the food was not as good or flavorful. When I went Thursday, the food was substantially better and worth the money. I also check out the menu everyday since I pass the restaurant a lot. The Friday menu is very limited compared to other days.
