Found Jack's by putting "food near me" in Google on my business trip. It was exactly what I needed, friendly, local, delicious, and very reasonable charge. While I was eating, I saw a pancake 3 stack 4 inches tall, a half fresh papya, and they have a homemade roll/biscuit they make that had some Hawaiian magic in it. I ordered that with my Loco Moco. Both were great. They will split the biscuit for you and grill it so it's "crunchy". I will definitely return.
Great casual local spot for an easy breakfast! Definitely recommend getting the biscuits grilled as it gives a crunchy delicious texture to a biscuit which you wouldn’t expect. The whipped butter for the biscuit was so light and airy as well! The Portuguese sausage had just the right amount of spice. While I don’t have photos of it, the corned beef hash was also a delicious meat option for the breakfast combo!
Good food and fast service.
Ordered loco moco and a side of hashbrowns. Very well flavored and decent portion compared to the price. I spend $20 on the meal and coffee.

Excellent local style mom and pop eatery. Informal and friendly atmosphere although a bit noisy. Great place to eat and talk story.
Serves the best breakfast and lunch options. Wide variety of menu choices at very reasonable prices. Our favorites are the #4 breakfast combo of egg, fried corned beef hash and Jack’s biscuit with coffee; fried rice with Portuguese sausage; and lamb curry.
Saturday mornings are especially busy. Worthwhile to pick up and eat out at a local park nearby such as Kawaikui. Dining-in and take out services are fast, about 10-15 minutes. Lots of parking available with easy access to parking lot from main highway. Phone calls answered quickly. No option for ordering online or delivery.
We have been going there for decades and the quality and service have been consistently excellent. Masks required for entry and social distancing practiced. Open for dining in at near capacity.
Cute quaint local joint. Super small 10 tables but great service reasonable prices and amazing food.
buggah is mean. The food is amazing. I leave completely satisfied every time. there is only a couple aunties as servers so it's not he best, but I like the homey feel it has
Jack's was very good and very affordable breakfast joint! Simple and sweet. Friendly staff. Biscuits were delicious! Will definitely be coming back here next time I'm in Honolulu!
Awesome find at Aina Haina Shopping Center ... you’ll find local favorites (Kahlua Pork and Cabbage) and twists on the classics (Lamb Curry - note of caution for those watching your cholesterol intake, the lamb pieces are very fatty! I loved the dish, fat and all!)
For your side, you gotta try the biscuit - it’s a very tender take on a corn muffin and absolutely amazing with a liberal amount of butter spread on it!!
Friendly waitstaff and fast service. Atmosphere was a little dingy and dated and the prices were a bit high for breakfast, but the food was hot, fast, and tasty. We had pancakes, eggs, bacon, and coffee.
Nothing fancy. Great service, good food, good prices. If you're headed out to the east side of the island and looking for a good breakfast, without having to spend an"arm and a leg" go here!!

We’re vacationing in Honolulu (Waikiki) and wanted to venture out with a rental car. On our way to our first destination, we stop at Jack’s for breakfast and it’s delicious! Definitely try the pancakes and biscuits.
This place doesn’t pretend to be something it isn’t. It’s delicious and simple and competitively priced. I love to see them continually busy. This restaurant has deserved it since I was a little munchkin… Keep up the good work Jack’s!!!

In a strip mall with McDonald’s and Starbucks, skip those and head over to Jacks!! You won’t be disappointed!

Great value. Fast service. Food was simple and good. Lots of seniors eating here. Very typical diner experience. One of their main dishes was fried fish, eggs, and potato or rice which I thought sounded unusual but was actually delicious. Tartar sauce and fried rice go together pretty well it turns out.
Love this place been coming here for years and hands down the best oxtail soup I've ever had
Service, food and atmosphere were amazing!! We will come back when we are on the island again!! Better then any food on the resorts!!
