Good food but a little pricy for what you get. Service was a little slow but I still give it a thumbs up.

Great food but not at a good price. My favorite item is there Garlic Chicken but beware its on the Hilton Hawaiian Village property so expect to pay double for what you can get at a restaurant outside the property.

There is no immediate parking for the restaurant so finding a parking space could be a challenge. The decor of the restaurant is simple. The service is very good. The food was very good too. The butter fish and entree were excellent. The recently introduced a breakfast buffet.

Fantastic! Have been here twice in two days… both times the sushi was fresh & delicious, very high quality. The teriyaki chicken for lunch was equally amazing. Will be returning again for another dinner! Very easily located in the Hilton.

I had the Diamond Head sushi plate. It was absolutely exquisite with the flavors of each bite being both distinct and subtle. The service was great, probably easy for them since it was just me. The atmosphere was relaxing and just overall pleasant. Not too loud.

This was a great find in Waikiki Beach area. We had dinner there on a couple of occasions while in area. Excellent choice of dishes including a set "meal". Restaurant was very accommodating given dietary restrictions for one of our group. Staff were also friendly. There can be a line at times.

This place is pretty good. Price is reasonable. Servers are great. Got our food within 20min. We ordered steak and rolls - spicy tuna roll with cream cheese was good - tasted almost like Toro. Udon was perfect.

All you need to know is that they have Asahi "Super Dry" on draft. I repeat...ON DRAFT! The chicken is amazing, the service outstanding and cool little eatery in the market area of the Hilton in Waikiki. Been there twice so far on this trip because it's that good. Indoor and outdoor seating is available and Hatsuhana is a reliable place for some good Japanese eats either for lunch or dinner. Check the times because they close in between lunch and dinner.

We stopped here one night for dinner because we wanted to have sushi. The restaurant is always busy with a wait. But it does move fast so the wait is not that long. Our server was friendly and clarified things for us as we ordered. The sushi is on the pricer side but we were in Hawaii so I wasn't surprised. I did enjoy the dragon roll but I would have gone without the garnishments on top. I also enjoyed the shrimp tempura roll. We did get some nigiris which were probably the best part. The fish to rice ratio was more than adequate and the fish tasted fresh. Be advised if you get a drink here, there are no refills. Our server was kind enough to tell us that before we ordered expensive soft drinks. It was $5 for spirit. This place would benefit from some kid friendly options.

Food was great, service was fast. We ordered Katsu chicken and it was nice and crispy and teriyaki chicken with sauce on the side. Chicken good, sauce okay okay for me, not a big fan of teriyaki myself. One weird thing was that they ask you to pay when you order tip included but they might have had one too many dine n dash customers I guess.

We've been here twice in the last three days, loved the food and the service was excellent. We had Garlic Shrimp, chicken and Steak Teishoku dishes and they were delicious! We also loved the atmosphere, quiet and relaxing. Would come back again and again!

After spending all day on the road, it was nice to have a good dinner. There weren't too many vegetarian options, but the avocado roll, cucumber roll, and cucumber pickle rolls hit the spot. These were some of the best avocado rolls we've had. For some reason, the kids really enjoyed the salad with tofu as well. All in all, it was a good time. Cindy was a great hostess.

What can I say, it was one of the best meals I had on the island. I recommend the draft Asahi beer to go with it or traditional Japanese tea. Great authentic taste that will excite your tastebuds. I highly recommend. Everyone in my family finished their meals with the satisfaction of wanting to come back again for more.

The prices were a little inflated but the food was reasonably good and the waitress was friendly and hardworking (Mandy). Wait was only about 15 minutes for the food to arrive. We asked for them to bring food as it was ready to avoid waits. Note that food prices (and general pricing) are naturally a little inflated in Hawaii. A Lyft was $25 for a 3 minute drive for example.

Amazing food! The staff were very attentive and polite. They seemed to genuinely care that we enjoyed our food and did everything they could to make our meal great. I would eat here over many of the Japanese restaurants from back home. Looking forward to my next visit!

I was not expecting much, but I left impressed. The garlic salmon and ahi tuna steak were excellent. I thought it was a tad overpriced though. My server was hardly at my table.
