Great place to bring large parties. Food are filling and the staff are attentive.
Depending on which day you go, there may be a wait. I visited on a Thursday and it wasn't crowded at all. Good and simple.
Amazing food. i would love to go back in this place. This is my favorite Filipino restaurant here in USA.
Great restaurant! I came here with my family and I had such a great experience. I am Filipino and this is the best Filipino food I’ve ever had besides my grandmas cooking. The food came very fast we didn’t have to wait long at all and it was kind of busy too. I am also vegan and they compromised for my diet very well. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming! I am definitely going back to eat here:) 10/10 recommend
First time going to this restaurant, not long after opening. Everything we ordered was delicious and the mango pudang was a great way to end a meal. We had a very attentive waiter and we will definitely be going back to try other things on the menu.
Big portions of tasty Filipino food, what's not to like? The mango smoothie and adobo were amazing, while the spaghetti was merely OK (I didn't think it was much better than Jolibee's). Be prepared to wait in line during busy times.
They can get busy and food will come slow. We always come here, staff are trying their best friendly service everytime. Fried daing bangus, pork sisig, sinigang, fresh lumpia and their enseladas are highly recommended. They plenty parking available and their bathrooms are clean.
Authentic Filipino and American Food Food Portions are huge and delicious. Everything is homemade. Prices are reasonable. Lunch specials till 4pm. Breakfast is served all day. Fast and Friendly Services
Awesome customer service, family ambiance, delicious Filipino food! The staff was welcoming, attentive and courteous. We had the Crispy Pata with fried rice. The Pata.was crispy outside and tender in the inside... while perfectly marinated. Loved the whole experience and will return to try some of the other dishes from the menu. Highly recommended if looking for great Filipino food!
One of our favorite places for Filipino food! Their karekare is so good, especially on their garlic rice. My husband loves their adobo fried rice. The tomatoes add a nice balance to the saltiness of the fried rice. The dishes are quite large, so it’s best to share. To avoid long waits, try going during non-peak hours. We’re usually lucky to get seating when we enter, but during peak hours, it can be quite the wait.
Friendly hospitality, very good and quick service, and generous portions. My only regret was getting too full on the main dishes, that I didn’t have room for halo halo 💔 Hahah! Thank you, enjoyed every minute there. I will come back again 🤙🏽
To fix your modern-classic Filipino cravings, head nowhere but in Max’s Restaurant. When you are in a foreign country this will make you feel at home and the crew is trying their best to offer you dishes that will comfort your Filipino inner soul.
Ordered tapsilog and bangsilog that both comes with garlic rice (which is really good coz ain’t dominated with lotsa garlic) and two over-easy egg. It’s so good and reminds me when I was in College. It comes with vinegar and papaya salad as a small side dish. I kinda don’t care about the papaya salad.
Overall I enjoy the food and were cooked tasty. Will recommended!
Aloha!
The food is great and the selection is plenty. The staff was very short with us and it was difficult to get them to our table for requests or even to order. I'll go back but hope for a friendly service
After leaving the airport and heading to Costco for the obligatory stock run we found Max’s in the same parking lot. Great food and pretty quick service considering how busy they were. For our first meal in Hawaii I hope this is a sign of good things coming elsewhere!
