The food was very good and served nicely. This place has a very authentic vibe. Service was great and fast. The portion size was big enough for a very reasonable price. Would recommend trying this place for some good Japanese food!!

If you love izakaya you'll be charmed by this place as if you just stepped in an izakaya in Japan. The decor is Japanese baseball themed and there are a lot of pupus to order. Unfortunately for me many of the menu is meat based so I had limited options but meat lovers will have a good time.

The service is great. This is a small and quaint Japanese restaurant. The atmosphere is nice. The owners are from Hiroshima and their Hiroshima okonomiyaki is so Ono! This is now one of our favorite restaurants to go to when we are in town.

Found okonomiyaki in Waikiki! So delicious and what I was looking for and now it’s so convenient to get! It’s inside of the Mitsuwa Japanese market food court! Decent price point and great portion size!

Hell to the yes. Go here. STAT. We had so many delicious dishes here today. To start we had a fresh watercress salad with a miso sesame dressing. A perfect start to our dinner experience. Then it was on to the yakitori chicken hearts. Lightly salted and robust flavor. I recommend if you’re into dark meat and slightly chewy texture. Next up was yakitori Saba. A flaky mackerel fish that, again, was seasoned perfectly. Topped with fresh lemon and a side of Daikon. Yum. On to the yakitori Prawn. Salted and delicious. Eat the whole thing you won’t regret it. Then yakatori Enoki mushrooms wrapped in shiso and bacon. Juicy, salty, with a little seaweed. Delish. 100% recommend Then miso butter corn ramen. Oh HELL yes. If you don’t get anything else get this. Salty, creamy, and tasted like a childhood. Whatever that means. Kidding. It’s just SO good!! Last but not least the okonomiyake was ono-frickin-licious. Talk about a perfect blend of thinly sliced pork-almost crispy, hidden under eggs on sprouts on noodles and fresh cabbage. Top it off with that classic Ökonomie sauce and I may as well be in Japan. This place knows what they are doing.

Shoyu ramen was a solid 8/10. Order the the $12 valve set, which was a solid 7/10. The grill pork is a 9/10, and would highly recommend. The setting of the place is a bit small but it’s 100% a vibe to be there. Waiters refilled my water without me asking. I would give this place a good 8.25/10 Went back to this location today and got the Paitan Tsukune Ramen 7.8/10

We went twice just visiting. Both times the food, atmosphere, and service were phenomenal. You’re met by a Japanese baseball theme inside the restaurant. Very unique atmosphere but what really set this place apart was the food. First time we purchased the hiroshima ramen. The pork and broth on the ramen were so flavorful and not too salty. We also tried the 5 pc yakatori with edamame— all the meats cooked to perfection, not dry or too rare at all. We also got the Hiroshima okonomiyaki 🤤 this was sooo delicious and loved that it came with the Japanese mayo on the side so you can control how much you want. Second visit tried their special item, which was the steak and poke, meat was soo tender and juicy and their fish was just as delicious. Simple but delicious food and great service!

Food was above average - not better than mainland SF or LA - but very decent for local dive. The servers were attentive and actually helpful in an unobtrusive non-bothersome way. Atmosphere is very casual, mixed crowd. Parking underground kind of sucks, but that's not the restaurant's fault and not reflected in the rating - it's just fyi. A solid recommendation.

Whenever I come here I feel as if I'm really in Japan. The food is quite good and they have a large selection. Happy hour and late night happy hour items are really great. The yakitori is amazing but I must say the ramen isまま. The atmosphere is really great and they are always playing Japanese television in the background. every time I come there are tons of actual Japanese people eating! It just goes to show that they have a really good following.
