Every morning I pass by Kai Coffee and never ventured in but I'm glad I did. The iced tea (something hibiscus) was pretty good and I ordered 2 breakfast to go sandwich and a vegetable wrap for lunch. They accept all types of payments, alot of seating and outside seating available. Also good for using laptops and whatnots or have meetings of 2-3 people base on space availability. I did not see a bathroom but there might be one somewhere in the building. The sandwich i think may have cost $6-7 as well as the vegetable wrap. Iced tea cost between $3-5 depending on size, large or small. They use ecolid or Ecoproducts. Support local!

This is a small, locally owned coffee shop in downtown Honolulu. Their signature drink is the Kai latte. They also have pastries, sandwiches and acai bowls. This is a nice space to come with your laptop to work in. You could also have small group meetings here. My favorite is the matcha latte. The baristas are quick so you can find yourself in and out in less than 5 minutes if there is no line. I tend to avoid this place between the 7:30-8:30am when everyone is getting their morning coffee. They are located inside the Arcade Building with their shop front on S. King Street. It's best to walk here instead of drive. The only parking in this area is metered street parking on Merchant Street or the metered parking by the post office.

One of the few places that has been consistent in service and food. That is the main reason I keep coming back. I find the quality of food is good and with good flavor. They have been added to my rotation of lunch establishments.

This is a cute cozy coffee tucked away in the corner of the building. They got a small assortment of pastries, and serve delicious coffee in real mugs.

Great for a mild coffee and the best macadamia nut syrup on the island. If you’re an espresso connoisseur it’s not the BEST coffee but if you want something light and fun you’ll enjoy an iced latte plain or with a tiny bit of their macadamia syrup!

I love this cafe for the Kai Latte and how well dressed the staff is! It makes me so happy to see people in bright colors and bow ties! 😍 It's a bit higher priced than other coffee shops, but everything has so much life here compared to chains that it makes up for it.

If you’re visiting Honolulu or Waikiki and you’re looking for legit coffee Kai Coffee is the place! Espresso, flat white, filter, cold brew and more, they’ve got your coffee choice covered. They put real ‘aloha’ into each cup! The flavour and the taste is spot on every time. The staff are friendly as. Don’t be surprised if upon your second visit your coffee is already waiting for you at the counter 😜

Excellent beverages. The Earl Grey tea is one of the best I have ever had. Amazing smoothies. And excellent coffee. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff add to the overall experience.

Nice small coffee shop. Great blue berry scones. Nice seating area to enjoy a cup of coffee before work time. 4 stars due to $$ but this is in the middle of a busy business area, to be expected.

Good coffee shop downtown that has an exceptional decaf drinks selection (I like coffee, just not after noon) from iced tea too hot and iced chocolate. Friendly professional baristas, good restrooms, and wifi make this a go to spot for meetings anytime of the workday. The only improvement I can think of is turning the music down a touch (we were right under the hanging Bluetooth speaker). I would definitely go there again.

Always clean inside. Their signature Kai Latte is magnificent! That new barista, John, certainly knows how to satisfy the customers! I'll definitely be back!

I ordered iced Kai latte. It was good and tasted like with soy milk, maybe it’s with macadamia nut cream. This place is so good for working with bar and electric outlet.
