I've been coming here since they first opened and has always been my favorite! Before they opened up, I would have to eat Shabu Shabu at restaurants where they require a minimum of two people ordering. Not all of my friends were into Shabu then... So when they opened I could go anytime on my own because they have counter seating for lone diners. Their freshly made ponzu sauce is my absolute fave! I practically drink the sauce and love the fact that I can put as much daikon and green onions without having to ask for more every time I need to refill my dipping dish. In the beginning we were never allowed to take sauce home for our leftovers unless you squeeze it directly on the meat or veggies. I was pleasantly surprised when they gave me the little disposable sauce containers! ππ½ππ½
They've added different flavors for broth like paitan and also offer better types of beef but I've always been pleased with what they serve on the basic set. Now days because the detox set has a better selection of healthy veggies, I order that with a side of beef and sometimes seafood.
My kids love it there too, esp the dessert... My grandson ordered the vanilla sundae and I was lucky enough to sample it! I love the mix of crunchiness of the cereal flakes and the heavenly chewiness of the brownie chunks on the bottom!
The service is always wonderful and because of that they deserve more than five stars! ππ½

Awesome family and single style setting with a delicious menu selection. The sauces are to die for. Servers are super friendly. I've tried many Shabu and hot pot eateries. This is my favorite!!!
This the first time going to Shabu Shabu House and it was good but I felt the food didn't have a lot of flavor without salting it up. I ordered venison and beef and it came with a variety of veggies to boil in broth. It was unique to me. I will try other Shabu Shabu Houses to check out variety.
Very good! Friendly service and the quality is consistent. Has a family/neighborhood type atmosphere.
