I stopped in for lunch while I was waiting on my car to be detail with Thristy Car Hawai’i Kai.
I enjoyed some spring rolls. The spring rolls were crispy and cooked perfectly. The lettuce and cucumbers were very fresh!
I would have liked to try something else except the power went out. Maybe I’ll return another day to sample something else.

Yes, I know. I should have food pictures But, we were hungry and the food was delicious. We talked with Carole the owner for some time. She is a nice person and well worth the chat. She makes the most amazing Thai Chili Sauce from a handed down family recipe. I have been all over Southeast Asia and THIS IS THE BEST I HAVE HAD. Ask for Carole's Number 10 Thai Chili sauce. Take a quart home! NO need to drive to corporate eateries. You can just walk there from Sandy Beach.
My boyfriend and I had some delicious curry and popcorn chicken. The food was amazing and came very fast. It was very clean and felt very authentic. Really great service and staff as well. We will definitely be back again!
I asked the old lady if they were open and she said 'oh wat do da sign say' and I said 'it says open 😔' the Thai vibes were strong. Food good too
I live on the other side of the island. Every time my wife and I are hungry in this neighborhood. This is the 1st restaurant we think of. The service and food is equally great. It has to be excellent to prosper in this location. Its worth every driving mile.
This place is AMAZING! Don't know what the other reviews are talking about. The yellow curry and basil stir fry dishes are delicious. My fiancé couldn't get over the basil stir fry. The restaurant is in a great location, two minute drive from our Airbnb. We are coming back for dinner before our flight home...not joking.

I have to say this is my favorite Thai restaurant on Oahu. Besides being close to my house (always a bias) I love their curries. They are flavorful, actually spicy (if requested), and spicy in flavorful way, not just overpowering hotness. Besides their curries my daughter loves their popcorn chicken and my wife enjoys both their salads and sweat and sour chicken. While one downside is they don't have alcohol they are BYO so make sure you hit Safeway (or wherever) before heading over. To top all this off the decor is solid, their service is good (though depends which of the owners family you get), they have parking, and the prices are extremely affordable (enough you could eat them daily).
To address the roach comment, I have been going here for years and never seen a roach on the premises. That being said even if I had, so what. You are in Hawaii, you can't go ten feet in this state without seeing a roach somewhere. Roaches are not indicative of food quality and if roaches worry you, your choices are going to be extremely limited in Hawaii (no food trucks, street vendors, mom and pop shops, roadside stalls, etc etc).
Called and ordered takeout. Staff were super friendly, they called me when it was ready. We had the house salad (big portion), panang curry with tofu and seafood fried rice. Everything was delicious.
Excellent Asian menu with plenty variety. We were six adults and the bill was less than $100 including tip. We enjoyed ourselves immensely. Highly recommended.
