This is a great lunch spot for sandwiches during the weekday. All the sandwiches have "crack sauce" in it and it definitely makes it taste better. The cubano is their best seller but the torpedo is my personal favorite. The sandwich cost about $10 and you can dine in or take out. They also accept phone orders.

I had a very tasty Cubano hoagie - toasted 14" sandwich with roast pork, pickles, mojo mustard, pastrami & herb aioli. Sorry, no photo ... I was hungry! Although Sammies has tables, if you sit at the counter, you get your sandwich & au jus without a plate - so you may feel bad to be making a little mess dripping au jus on the counter ... & it's OK. Note: all of the toasted / hot hoagies come with au jus - otherwise au jus is $1 extra. Sammies is in the spot that used to be Little Oven, and is open M-F 11-4.
