I am reviewing the Island Deli inside ABC Store #38. You enter the store and head straight into the back...that is where the deli is located... you can pay there.
There was Prime Rib on Tuesdays. I was wondering how bad can Deli Prime Rib be? We ordered prime rib loco moco... 2 eggs any way you want over a slice of prime rib (about a third of an inch thick) on top of a mound of rice than smothered in brown gravy.
The prime rib was a bit on the medium side, but it was tender and juicy. I am presently surprise. The cost is only $14.99. Really good value for the money.
We also ordered the pork adobo plate. Slight vinegarly sauce. Tender and fatty pork chunks with potato. Totally a yummy dish. You are give a choice of white rice or mashed potato.... i suggest the rice...to sop up the yummy sauce. It came with a side of macadamia nut pesto pasta salad... this is a winner all by itself.
I also ordered 2 fried chicken thighs. PLEASE avoid this like the plague. Really dry. The crust is a bit salty and over cooked. A definite no value.
One of the good ABC stores in the area. There's a lot to get including beach items, souvenirs, medicine, some personal items and even a take-out restaurant in the back where they sell some food. They even have breakfast and it's good! Their pizza could be better. They surprisingly have a variety of options to choose from the menu for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They also have an wheelchair accessible elevator to get from the main floor to a few steps up to where some more souvenirs are sold and the food, which is really mindful! We came to this store quite a few times.
This ABC store is one of the better store and they had a full kitchen serving breakfast, lunch and different at a reasonable price for downtown Waikiki. My friend had 10 oz medium rare steak meal (include rice, mash potatoes, and pesco potassio) for $15. They have all kind of souvenir, medicine and Dole pineapple ice cream machine.
ABC Store #38 at the Imperial Resort on Lewers Street is a wonderful convenience store with an amazing selection of merchandise, groceries, prepared food, pharmaceuticals, snacks, sun screen, beach toys, and wine, champaign, and liquors. Low-key the best poke bowl I had on Oahu. They give you a lot of fish and it's cheaper than others in Waikiki (but still more than elsewhere on the island). Plus they knew what was gluten free.
Great ABC store, I stayed literally across the street from this location so I often went to it. Includes a grocery/deli section that served alotnof great food, and had pastries, dole whip machine, etc. Also larger than most other ABC stores and never that busy since it's on a side street.

ABC are more than just convenience stores, they are everywhere. Prices and selections actually are not bad, surprisingly. One would think that in expensive Waikiki they would gouge tourists. But I found they have items such as water, coffee actually beats market.
The fact that they are everywhere, save you time and dragging heavy items back to where you stay.
This particular location on Lewer street also has a good size Hot Food section, not all ABCs have such a huge hot food selections.
Our favorite ABC here in Waikiki although we're staying quite a distance from this one we find ourselves there everyday they have an amazing selection and an unbelievable Hot Food Deli in the back absolutely delicious food at phenomenal prices whether you're getting pre-packed refresh made we've had both from the New York strip steak and shrimp to the garlic shrimp plate I wish I could give more than five stars
One of the bigger stores that also has a deli which has some decent food. Located at the base of the Imperial Hawaii across from Roy's.
This was my favorite and the best (imo) ABC store I encountered during a 7 day stay on Oahu in early 2023. They have everything you could ever want or need while on vacation. The food selection, especially hot, grab and go meals selection was impressive and everything we tried their was delicious. We bought liquor supplies, lotion, food and souvenirs here. Would go back anytime I visit Waikiki. Great location!
The ABC store has it all! From souvenirs to grocery items, they have everything. There's also a huge selection of clothing, sunscreen, alcohol, lotions, and more.
Awesome ABC Store location! Go in to get the Dole Whip for $3.99 (fill the bowl as high as you can just like the picture shows--all the same price).
I think i have gone to almost all ABC in the Waikiki strips. They almost got everything you need for the time being from candy to lunches or dinner food to shirts and sun block you name it. People are nice and always greeting you with a smile.
Really enjoyed stopping by first thing in the morning for a breakfast sandwich or burrito. Good portion size and the longest wait for food was 15 minutes. The pre-sliced fruit lasted longer than expected and this location is one of the larger ABC stores by square footage in the area
The simple fact that they’re open past 8 PM gives them five stars. I personally love all the ABC stores here on Honolulu including this one. That’s great for me because they all open early and they stay open late. Very few places on this island do that so for someone like me that is just a visitor here without a full-size fridge to store anything as well as I’m also working around the airline schedule. These stores always a convenience to me and my family.
This was walking distance from our hotel and it was perfect for our needs. It's got some fun souvenirs too! Great groceries and snacks. The staff were very friendly!
If you didn't buy anything from ABC, were you even in Honolulu? This was my favorite ABC that I found. At the back they made food fresh in house and had a soda fountain machine. Bought some drug store items and alcohol here. Got a lot of my souvenirs for family/ friends here too
Excellent burgers for lunch at a great value; plus anything you want for the beach, allergy medication, alcohol, all the things you need for your Waikiki stay at a reasonable price. This was our go-to ABC. Very convenient & awesome!
