Delicious authentic Korean food! Wow I’m so surprised how delicious everything was. My kiddos were craving Korean food while being on a vacation in Hawaii. I’m so glad I visited this restaurant. Absolutely AMAZING!!!!!!!!!

Small place but packed with flavor from the food. My husband not into Korean food but I convinced him to try this place since there's a lot good reviews about this place and yes, my husband really liked this place. Owner was friendly and sweet. The food all came with good presentation and a good Korean food means it has to have good banchan (side dish) and theirs were superb! I love their green onion/seafood pancake. Hubby loved the bibimbap. The steamed pigfeet was interesting but we finished them all! It was that good! If you're into Korean food, try this place!

You want to eat authentic chonggukjang(rich soybean paste stew) without the strong odor but most rich flavor then this is it! The best!

Good Asian food here but they don't take credit cards for smaller payments under 12 understandably so.

Went there for lunch and had the Kal bi (short ribs) plate and Kimchi stew. Great food but minus one star for the ambiance.

Have been coming here for a long time with family. The owner and staff are super friendly and hospitable. Food is amazing quality especially the side dishes. Yakiniku is always a great option, can't go wrong!

This place is pretty great and has a potential to get a five star. We ate lunch there where I got Koran sausage soup and my husband got the handmade noodles. They were very good, tastes like home-cooked meal. The only thing was that the host wasn’t too friendly. I read that they are friendlier to Koreans do something to think about. Still a beyond decent Korean restaurant with affordable price.

We live very close to here and walk by a lot (the bus stop is right out front), but we have always been weary to try it. It looks super sketchy from the outside and not the cleanest from the inside or back. A friend recommended we go there for lunch one day and boy am I glad I got to try it! The menu is hard to understand if you don’t read Korean or aren’t familiar with the food so I’m glad my friend knew what to order. I tried the spicy beef stew and it was yummy! The prices are reasonable. There’s not much parking so it’s best if you walk or look for parking down by the middle school. I give it 4 stars because of cleanliness (still a bit weary about it) and because the menu is not easily understood by those who aren’t familiar with Korean food. Worth a shot if you’re looking for authentic Korean food.

Grilled Mackerel and Soft Tofu Stew we’re great. Lunch prices are fantastic for the quality of food and they packaged everything so well.

Here a not so hidden gem of a hidden gem for a great Korean restaurant. It is on the upper section of Kalakaua avenue just outside of Waikiki heading towards Berenania street next to a questionable massage parlor (got to add the visuals, LOL). It is small with limited tables, so I suggest eating early before the crowds get there. This was our second time and we went for lunch again. The food is really good and especially the soup dishes as well as their homemade banchan. The portions are generous and visually appealing as well as very tasty. Everything was freshly prepared and served up piping hot. Along with the good food was very nice service. You feel very comfortable there a know your food is being prepared with love and care. The seafood soup is packed with all kinds of goodies from the sea as well as flavor that just won't stop. The black goat soup is an unexpected delight and something that is different, but not so exotic that it is an acquired taste. If you are a new customer, they do make it clear that they don't serve frogs, which I found very amusing. There must be something lost in translation from the restaurant that attracts people because they think they can get frog legs there. This is winner of a Korean restaurant in my book and highly recommend it.

Very good choice of Korean food! Affordable price is a plus. The restaurant is quite small but don't let that deter you. Tofu soup is very delicious. Will come back again 👌

Amazing and delicious food. Got the mackerel dinner and the fish was grilled to perfection. Friend got the chicken and they described it as tender and juicy. Definitely try this spot!

I love Korean food, and their food taste really good! But, don't make the mistake by going there without someone who is Korean! I'm obviously not Korean, but they treated my friend good with even giving us awesome specials that was all written down in Korean...when I returned without her the same specials were there, but I couldn't read it! So I told the lady if I could have the special and she told me if I can't read it she won't give it to me!!! WTF! RACIST PLACE WITH GREAT FOOD!

This is one of my favorite Korean restaurants on Oahu. Their whole menu is affordable and very tasty. Kimchee is key to rating Korean places and Frog House kimchee is really good.
