A quick stop for lunch, sounded like a decent place to stop and sit to eat. I wasn't disappointed nor impressed.
The place was clean but dated.
The service was quick, the food was decent but I never had a gyro like that before. It was good, but not what I consider a gyro and much smaller than I am used to.
I've always been told to go to the Purple onion, it being a west Alabama staple, went in for the first time and was not disappointed. The hummus was amazing, the pilaf delicious, my kebabs perfectly cooked and seasoned. Will definitely come back whenever Im in the area.
Service was great! The employees were kind and attentive. The atmosphere is just fine. The menu is extensive which is good but, various items on the menu may be underwhelming in flavor depending on your tastes.
They never disappoint me! I always get the broccoli baker! Any baker is a recommended and the burgers are good but I never go after 10 it gets busy. Bless the workers they work so hard!
