I have been going to Outback for years having dined at locations from Palm Harbor, Florida to Raleigh, North Carolina. I went to the Hoover location on a Sunday night and this was my fourth time coming here to either dine in or curbside pick-up. For an appetizer I ordered coconut shrimp and the entrée a New York strip with sautéed mushrooms and a house salad with ranch dressing. When the house salad arrived it had thousand island dressing on it instead of ranch. The couple sitting next to me said thousand island would be good on a burger not a salad. Another salad came out later with ranch on it. When the entrée arrived it was not a New York strip but a ribeye. I didn't say anything since it was a fifty cent difference and the bartender was having to cover the bar, the surrounding tables in bar area, and attend to the customers coming into the bar for their to go orders. If I had ordered a porterhouse and was presented with a ribeye I would have said something. There is clearly a staff shortage in this location. The ribeye, sautéed mushrooms, and the house salad were good. For a change I tried something different I hadn't tried before because I usually order the New York strip. I have not had any issues with any of my previous orders here.

Arrived a little bit after 8 which is really close to their closing time. Even still, we were waited on in a timely and professional manner. The service was great and the food was delicious. I wanna give a special thanks to our server "Morgan J". She is great at her job. She was very nice and definitely people friendly. I will most certainly be dining with this franchise again soon.

Benjamin served my daughter and I tonight. He has an excellent table side manner. He was prompt, friendly, knowledgeable and patient. Our order came out perfectly! Although it’s obvious the restaurant is short staffed, Benjamin never made us feel as if he were in a hurry. And we were seated way under the estimated time. Benjamin is an amazing server with excellent customer service skills!!!

My son and I had lunch at the bar. The bartender, Shae immediately got us water and asked what we needed, then immediately turned around and had our beverages within the minute. She was so friendly and all of our food and drink requests were attended to immediately. Shae did an amazing job. Great bar. Clean, fast service, and great staff. Best location in town, would reccomend.
