This is a pleasant little restaurant we stopped at for breakfast. The inside reminds you of a cabin with it's wood walls and ceilings. The waiter came over and took our order, however he didn't get everything right. Kind of like he was half listening. The food came out and it was delicious. The pancakes are large, so don't order too many. The prices are reasonable for what you get. Definitely a good place to stop for breakfast.
Really good for the price. The place isn’t fancy but it’s warm and welcoming.
We ordered the grilled tilapia with scallops and shrimp. We got a salad and potato with it. All of the food was really good. It was only $13.99 for all of that food. The seafood wasn’t over flavored. I added a little butter, lemon and salt and it was perfect.
If we lived closer we would come back for breakfast since that’s what they’re known for.
We went here on a whim. Great idea! Home-style food in a cozy atmosphere. Super reasonable prices.....and Mom found Chicken and Waffles!!!
Love this place! Home cooked food. We stop in every tome we come to the area

Love this restaurant, we eat there often. The food is always great. Some of my favorites are the freshly made soups, Mediterranean salad and they have the best hamburgers in town. Tuesday's meatloaf special and Thursday's chicken fried chicken is out of this world good county cooking. Oh...I forgot their breakfast menu is great and you can have that all day long. While I have my favorites, I haven't tried anything on the menu that wasn't top notch good!
Great food, great coffee, excellent service.
Typical dinner in a small village. Stuff was very friendly, the place was clean, my shrimp salad was awesome!!!!
The food was delicious, but the bacon was next level. Laura our waitress was super sweet and very attentive, she was the only waitress at the time and she did a great job. We will be back for sure at our next visit, plus we have to have more of the delicious bacon.
We went for lunch on Sunday. The burgers and fries were great. The prices are reasonable and the waitress was really friendly. The food came quickly and hot. They take debit cards but charge 3.5 % service charge. Not much really. Cost me an extra 27 cents.
My wife and I decided to go here on Friday night and enjoy their Flounder and shrimp special that they have on weekends. Ive visited there before for breakfast and enjoy the country style steak with gravy with eggs and home fries, excellent! I don't eat shrimp, so I gave my wife the shrimp and she gave me her flounder. The flounder was perfectly prepared, NOT overcooked like most restaurants, and very tasty! I was told that the owner, Fidelia actually cooks it herself and times it. I also enjoyed a side salad as one of my 2 choices of sides and discovered that they make all their sauces in house. The thousand island dressing was fantastic! The tartar sauce was also made in house and was fantastic as well! My wife enjoyed her shrimp and sweet baked potato and vegetables (zuchinni with something else I forgot). I overheard another customer bragging about how good their steak was. I've never tried the steak there before, but everything I've had is always excellent, freshly prepared. I also love the fact that it's close to our house, about a 6 minute drive, so we don't have to go to crowded areas of South Asheville or other places to enjoy a fine meal in a pleasant atmosphere with very good service and excellent food! If you haven't tried it, do it!
