Great food. Great service. Great atmosphere. Miss Penny was amazing!! We had an amazing dinner. Ordered the salmon and the NY strip. The food was great! Service was awesome! Meal came out almost too fast because we were enjoying the conversation too well :)
Visiting the Porterhouse was such a treat!
We (2 persons) split a 12 oz sirloin that came with a salad, baked potato and a vegetable medley. The steak was perfect medium rare. The vegetable medley was perfect also (not soggy, not hard). The cost was 23.67 without tip. Service was great- they refilled my glass of water before it was empty. All great.
This place is hands down delicious! Our waitress Sarah was amazing. My boyfriend likes to crack jokes & keep you on your toes, she laughed with us and joked back. She definitely made us feel welcomed & like family. Our food was so delicious, steaks were cooked perfectly and so tender you could cut it with a fork. We met Joe & Penny and they talked to us like we were friends for years! We will for sure be back for our date nights!
I have to say that I'm extremely happy I found this place. First off the prices are the best in town. Second the food was really good and cooked just as asked. Third and final the staff was great. If you want great food and want to be treated like royalty you gotta stop in. You won't regret it.
We didn’t have reservations but were willing to sit at the bar if it would give us a chance to try this place that looked to have good reviews. The atmosphere is incredible. The staff really seem to enjoy each other and working there. Penny was at the bar that evening and she took great care us. She is the sparkle of the place. Our steaks were cooked to perfection. The baked potato was soft, hot and fluffy, just the way I like it. And let me recommend the House Dressing for your salad. There is no doubt that we will look for our two seats at the bar every time we’re in Hot Springs!
This was a wonderful dinner with my wife. The service and food was top notch. I ordered a NY Strip Medium Rare. The meat was flavorful and tender. It was also a nice environment.
I recommend it for a romantic dinner.
a very fine dining experience! Steaks were cooked to perfection and we were never left unattended. Samantha (our server) was amazing! We were on our mini honeymoon and had the Porterhouse for Two . . . the mint jelly made the lamb chops really pop. Highly recommend!
Joe and Mrs. Penny run an amazing restaurant. All the servers, hostesses and bartenders are very kind. The customer service is an addition to the great food! Steaks are cooked exactly as asked and the drinks are refilled in a timely fashion. It feels like a real family restaurant and you leave as part of the family. This is a must attend restaurant when in Hot Springs and you shall not be disappointed.
