A very pleasant surprise! Great food at bargain prices!. My wife and I had driven by Big J's many times and seen how busy they were. After reading several positive reviews we decided to give the place a shot.

Big J's is located in one end of a strip mall well outside the city limits of Hot Springs on busy US 70. The location is very near to Pearcy,and not far from the Lake Hamilton Public Schools. The restaurant also features a game room,and appears to be a popular place for birthday parties etc...

My wife and I decided to try the buffet since we were pretty hungry and ready to eat. The nice young lady at the cash register took our order,and with two drinks the total was a whopping 13 bucks and change. I was liking this place already! That is an incredible bargain these days for salad,pizza,drinks,and dessert. My wife and I LOVED the pizza! At these cheap prices you might not have expected such good pizza,but everything we tried we really liked. Their pizza crust is very thin and flavorful. My wife particularly like the dessert pizza which consisted of peanut butter,chocolate,and powdered sugar.

I can't see myself driving by this place again without stopping! My wife and I would love to try some of their specialty pizzas in the future ,and I wonder if there is a pinball machine in the arcade?? ;)

Great atmosphere and pretty good pizza. The pizza was constantly rotated and they take requests for the buffet. Met the owner while eating in there. Very friendly and involved with his resaurant. Was impressed with how he makes it a point to talk with all customers. Definitely will go back again!
