Great toned down version of Indian food. We had the tandoori chicken sandwich and pulled pork sandwich. Both were good but the chicken was way better in our opinion. The kids split the chicken 25. It was quite delicious. They gave us cardimum cookies for dessert too!

Great decor, lovely patio, and AWESOME drinks. The food is plated well and tasted amazing. So many tasty options but not so many that you have a nervous breakdown. The menu items are gourmet authentic and served hot. Being an Indian restaurant, spice is common place. Which is done with great balance and delivered very well. The ice creams, their names escape me, but the flavor does not! You have to try them unless you have a nut allergy. In that case, keep your epi pen in your non eating hand. Ask for Jefferson, he is a phenomenal waiter. I had the crab samosa and fish steamed in banana leaf. 👍🏾👍🏾

This is my first visit to an authentic Indian restaurant here in Houston. The interior and its surroundings is very upscale and so as the price. We ordered crab samosas, patra fish, and goat masala. While waiting for more than 20 mins for our main dishes to arrive, we were served with some free appetizer. I really love most of the dishes except patra fish which I think is too mild. I would say this restaurant style is more towards Northern Indian style. If you want something spicy, just inform them at the time when you are ordering to avoid disappointment. Indian Mysore Harley tea is nice ending for the meal. And yes, we got free cookies again! I'm a happy girl :)

I have never been disappointed with a visit to Indika. I usually go for lunch, and they have a lunch prix fixe menu that lets you try several things for a reasonable price. Everything I have tried has been delicious - intensely flavorful and oh so delicious. Highly recommended.

We visited this restaurant last week . This is one of the most delicious fusion meals we have ever eaten. The menu is extensive and varied and caters for all tastes of Indian cuisine. We had the Chicken Chooza to start and that was absolutely delicious. For mains we had Saffron Shrimp and Scallop sand Chicken Chilla, both were wonderful and filling. The staff were very helpful and pleasant. I listened in to other diner's commenting on their meals and all were positive. We will certainly go back here and highly recomanded to people who loves to eat.

This is literally the best Indian restaurant in Houston. I eat Indian food every week for the health benefits and every time I go to a new city, I eat at each Indian restaurant to check the quality. After checking out the other restaurants, I have reached the decision that this restaurant is the best in town. The food is extremely high quality, and the food is never reused the next day for brunch. They have an amazing brunch special every day except for Monday and Saturday. The brunch is spectacular with many choices. The food itself is delicious and the staff is wonderful and caring. The owner comes and checks on everyone to make sure they are happy. In addition, the food is fresh and amazing. It is easy to tell when restaurants use low quality food, which this place does not; it is simply the best. I tell all my friends about this place. It is in my top 10 best restaurants in Houston and Montrose for sure. The Chia tea is a must and is made from scratch. If you want authentic, must eat restaurant in Houston, this is your destination.

I'm not a huge fan of India food but I really love this place. Relatively casual. Service was fantastic.

Lunch - now serving a buffet, which everyone seemed to be getting. Food was good along with Chi Tea. Little pricey. The service was excellent.

Not a huge fan of Indian food, but this place was an exception. I ordered the three course meal consisting of an appetizer, entree, and desert. The appetizer was great, it was weird, but it tasted interesting.. in a good way. I don’t know how to explain it.. it’s Indian food. For the entree I got lamb and rice... how can I put this.. it was good weird. To finish it off was ice cream! It was a nut ice cream. Never tasted anything like it... in a good way.

Recently dined here and the experience was excellent. The food, while not necessarily traditional Indian, is created with thoughtful & wonderful embellishments on the traditional. I have been eating Indian food for 40+ years, from my mother-in-law’s, to some of the best-rated restaurants in the US, to my travels in India. Indika’s is on par with some of the best! We look forward to dining here again. Highly recommend!

Delicious, healthy, and flavorful food. Many options to accommodate various food preferences. I went with the vegetarian combo and thought it was delicious! It was maybe a mix of too many flavors so when I go back I'll probably go with a simpler option. I also love lentils but they needed to be cooked more. My husband had the spicy chicken curry. Great flavor. If you like spicy food, which we do, then dig in! The samosas were outstanding and mild enough to feed to our twin boys. Samosas are actually the perfect option for little people. We ran into a slight problem with only one high chair but the staff were super helpful and borrowed one from a restaurant next door. I have to mention here that we LOVED the crew working at Bijou's they were friendly and fun. Dining with 15 month twin boys can be challenging and they made us feel welcomed. The atmosphere and music was also a TON OF FUN! Quick, healthy, and our little guys were thoroughly entertained by the music. We will be back

The hostess was great. She greeted us and got our table together on the patio quickly. The waitress was fast and knowledgeable. The patio was clean and beautiful. The menu was on point and the food was delicious. I enjoyed my meal and my date. The drinks were tasty and they really delivered. If you haven't tried it then try it. Try it. Try it.

What a special dining experience. I never got over here before the ownership change, so can't attest to if or how that changed things. I am familiar with the current owner and his other establishment, Khyber, and like there, the food and kitchen were on point! Everything we tried was amazing. Some of the best biryani I've ever had. The interior is bright but also very warm and cozy feeling, a difficult aesthetic to achieve. They were very busy, so service was a tad curt, as to be expected during busy evenings. I will definitely be back! GOTTA BRING THE MAMA
