First the atmosphere, then the service and of course the selection and the taste spectacular and all of this under the watchful eyes of Barbara
Very good Italian... Menu can be kind of the same you can get in an average Italian. But very good. I food was perfection. Wine list is fair. Not impressed.

I like Italian food as much as the next person and living in a large city like Houston, Italian restaurants are plentiful- not as common as Mexican and Tex- Mex, but still common nonetheless. And one of the better Italian dining options is Fratelli’s Restaurant.
This Italian restaurant is a neighborhood- style place with a classy interior that is easily a notch above the Italian chain restaurants in terms of formalness, but not to the extreme. It’s got an adult type of feel to it and is probably not a good place to go if you have very young kids. It tends to be on the quiet side, too. Even when there is a large number of customers present, Fratelli’s is still quiet enough that you can converse with the person next to you without shouting.
Fratelli’s has a full service bar and an extensive wine list. The Italian food dishes are well- prepared and tasty. I often go for the lasagna when I visit because it tastes homemade- fresh, just like grandpa prepared his special recipe for a family feast. The other food options are very good, too. The lunch portions are somewhat small but when combined with the complimentary bread, they make for a satisfying midday meal.
Fratelli’s has private rooms for meetings and it is common to find meetups taking place here, birthday parties, etc. The dinner prices are a little high, but I found the lunch prices okay for what you get and the quality of the food is easily above average. It’s a good restaurant for lovers of Italian food and a nice change of pace from the usual Mexican and Tex- Mex we Houstonians are so accustomed to eating.
Great Italian food. We brought our kids and they enjoyed the food too. The service was very slow. All in all, it was worth the wait, and we will be back
We have had dinner there a couple times recently and the sauce was wonderful. The spaghetti and meatballs are a winner along with the ravioli. Service is always good and Barbara the owner is always around checking on everyone.
Great ambiance, attention to detail, bar, food. Barbara, the owner, must never sleep.
She's always there --! She's filling your wine glass or checking to see how your day went or just stopping by to say hello, welcome.
The bar is wonderful, atmosphere terrific throughout the restaurant...all in all, a very friendly place!
The bread is real Italian bread, fresh and delicious. As a vegan, I don't eat the meat dishes but never brought anyone here that hasn't ordered meat and loved it.
Not only is it a great "local pub", but the Banquet Room is suitable for absolutely any occasion, intimate or large gathering.
It's definitely one of my favorite restaurants in Houston.
Mama Mia that's a spicy meatball!. Overall I enjoyed the meal. If you are a fan of italian cuisine you will enjoy the home-made sauce. I would be happy with a glass of wine a loaf of bread and a gallon of sauce. Service was a little disjointed and often off timing. The meal presentation was very nice with the entree and sides on one plate and nothing touched. If you are watching your waistline and are following some of the more populare diet plans you will enjoy the perfect portion sizes! I actually left perfectly satisfied and not overfull. The desserts looked nice but I did not try them. Excellent eye candy though!
The place is clean and everyone was nice. The spaghetti and meatballs was delicious and the lasanga was yummy. My only issue is that the portions are small and it's pricey. They charge for to go packaging $1.50. I will be back.
Great independent Italian restaurant. Excellent food at reasonable prices. Highly recommended when you are in the Spring Branch area.
What a hidden gem! Thoroughly enjoyed our dinner, we had the fratellis salad, seafood pasta, truffle pasta and calamari. Was sad to hear they didn’t carry the carbonara anymore but everything else was very good!
So this hidden gem is in the corner of the place. As soon as you go in, it has a amazing old Italian feel to it. Let’s start off with the customer service. Their professionalism and kindness is amazing, their knowledge of the menu is impeccable. The decorations inside are amazing and warm. Now for the food, the food quality is fantastic, the ingredients are so fresh. The flavors of every plate we ordered was on point. Also good wine selection for the beginner drinker.
Went here for a birthday lunch with a small group of friends, and we loved it! This place is beautiful! The service was impeccable. Gustavo is Ruth's favorite server, and it was clear to see why! We had several different dishes and desserts between the three of us, and each one was amazing! The creme brulee was heavenly, by far the best dessert! If alcohol is your thing, the chocolate martini (I did not order this, so it might have a different name) was too good to pass up, too. I highly recommend giving this restaurant a try if you've never been.
So so good, will be coming back! Will recommend the Black Linguini, it was excellent with the jumbo lump crab. My mom had the Eggplant Parmigian and it looked great!
I love Italian food and this place does not disappoint! We were staying in the area and had two takeout meals and one eat in meal in about ten days period because this place had a sooooo good! Pizzia is thin crust, individual size and delicious. The rosemary chicken is also delicious and the sauce is great. I had lasagna at our eat-in meal which may be some of the best I’ve had. I think it’s so good because the sauce is just perfect! Very pretty environment, super nice wait staff, and a beautiful bar. We will definitely be back!!
A typical rather up-scale Italian restaurant with really good food and a wide variety of wine choices. Nothing to complain about. The food was really good, but not super fantastic! We went there with a large group on Saturday night and there was live music and a young singer. She was amazing. I can totally recommend this place if you are into Italian.
Amazing service from our waitress and a beautiful restaurant. Came for a birthday dinner and we had such a pleasant time. I got the caesar salad and shrimp alfredo, my boyfriend got the Fratelli’s salad and pollo marquesa and the birthday boy had the rosemary chicken and they were all SO tasty! Thank y’all for the great time ☺️
One of our Favorite Italian Restaurants. Food is always on point! Great back of the house at this restaurant, as we have visited many times and the food is always Fantastic! The "Mushroom Crepe" appetizer is also a favorite of ours, and we order it every time. Service is usually top notch as well.
